Hotel Slavija Reviews

I stayed at a large room with three bed. The room was very clean and warm in winter. In addition, this hotel is located in covienient area(Slavia plaza, from which airport shuttle bus leaves) .Also, supermarket is near here.

Hotel location was great as very near and central to popular tourist attractions. Room itself was very basic and lack cleanliness greatly as found hair all over on the bedcover and on the bed. The room floor was cleaned after the complaint was made about the hair on the bed. Reception staff was helpful and available all the time. The room lack the basic amenities such as kettle and tea and coffee sachets etc. Toiletries were of very low quality as well. Room size was okay for one or max two people. View from the room was okay looking over the centre of the street. Overall very budget hotel okay inly to spend a night or two if you are on a tight budget or need something very basic.

It was a comfortable stay, but the fact that the rooms and the breakfast restaurant were in different buildings was inconvenient. You had to cross a public road to get to them. The view was fantastic, though.

There is no toothpaste or toothbrush in the room, no slippers, guest house level. Later, I paid a price difference of 3,000 Serbian dollars per day and upgraded to the LUX opposite. The air conditioning in the room was insufficient and there was noise from nowhere. Highly do not recommend this hotel.

Checked in again a year later, and as always, the front desk handled things quickly. Friendly and welcoming. China and Serbia are close friends. Specifically, the A1 bus to the airport is very close, just go downstairs.

The location is very good, and the hotel conditions are very good in all aspects. I stayed there twice in total. Only the first time the front desk overcharged me, but Ctrip took the initiative to bear it and refunded it. Ctrip's after-sales service is great!

The hotel was not bad overall, and the best part was definitely the breakfast. However, the hygiene—especially in the bathrooms—was very poor and not acceptable. The man at the reception charged us extra for parking and breakfast, and in the end we paid 90€ for the room, even though on Booking it clearly stated 65€ per night including taxes. It was not fair or correct to charge more than the listed price. The hotel is okay for one night, but for a longer stay I would recommend avoiding it.

Perfect place for a day stay. Good location, comfortable room and excellent location in the city. The renovated hotel has a chance of becoming a good point at the already developed hotel market of the Serbian captial. Please pay attention to Slavia it is worth

It is a very comfortable hotel, in a great location, in a street with many trees. Also, I really liked that the breakfast room has a panorama view. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was OK. There is even a gym in the basement. I recommend this place.

Where to start, when booking on *********** it seemed ok. The reviews seemed OK and it looked like a lot of business people stayed there. However, when we checked in, the first room we got (Room 131 first floor) was just as bright at night when the lights were off as when the lights were on. This was due to the large light directly outside the window lighting the large sign on the side of the hotel. We went straight back to the reception to get the room changed as it was unacceptable. The receptionist changed the room but we had to have single beds, which was not the worst trade off. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The second room on the 4th floor (Room 428) was better, only just. It was still effected by the light outside but not as bad and the curtains did enough of a job to cut it out slightly. There was three single beds in the room. The room wasn't exactly clean, but was tolerable as the sheets were clean. The pillows were uncomfortable. The bed was OK. There was a storage nook with no coat hangers but one hanger on the wall for your jackets. The walls were very dirty and had marks all over them. The toilet had a door with no handle on the inside, a broken frame on the inside so you couldn't close it fully as it jammed on the floor but you wouldn't want to shut it all the way as you couldn't reopen it due to no handle on the door. They said the room had been refurbished? The bathroom was a bit better, probably the best room in the apartment. The breakfast in the adjacent hotel was overpriced and not the best. I didn't like having to sit in the breakfast area with people smoking. I know its a European thing but we don't have that back in Australia were its banned from smoking in restaurants / eating areas. Pricing was OK but still found that it was to much for the low standard of the room. In doing further research when we got home, one of the reviews of the hotel was about the room with the light. Its in a good area with transport and close to the St Sava temple. I'd probably stay away from it if your looking for a place in Belgrade. It was the two rooms we got that put us off this hotel.
