Heritage Resort Hampi ★★★★
"Stayed 4 nights - very well run hotel, efficient & friendly staff, everything works in the room (not always the case), great shower, hot water etc & very clean. Lovely gardens & beautiful pool - mostly empty by day as everyone is out looking at the ruins. Food exceptional - we chose not to eat the buffet & dinner was served promptly even though the dining room was busy. Booked a hotel transfer to/from Hubli airport - reasonable price - & special mention to Tuktuk Manju - the hotel’s own tuktuk driver who we employed for 3 days to take us to the ruins. We chose not to use a guide but Manju gave us enough information & left us to visit the sites alone, organised our visits & made sure we didn’t miss anything of importance. Note - rather than rushing through things we visited in 2/3 hour chunks, twice a day with downtime back at the pool in between times which worked well for us - 6 sessions in all. Would certainly recommend."
Malligi,Hampi ★★★★
"Malligi in Hampi is a peaceful and beautiful restaurant known for its traditional North Karnataka food and relaxing ambience. Surrounded by greenery and open-air seating, it offers a calm village-style dining experience that is perfect after exploring Hampi. The food, especially the jowar roti and thali, is simple, authentic, and homely, though slightly mild in spice for some people. While the prices are a bit higher and service can be slow during busy hours, the overall experience of good food and serene atmosphere makes Malligi worth visiting at least once."
Clarks Inn Hampi ★★★
"Hotel room is nice and service is nice but the buffet has limited options and the pool was very cold .the room is small Gwju"
Hyatt Place Hampi ★★★★

Evolve Back Hampi ★★★★★
"The first impression is not great; the road to the hotel is dirt at first, then some type of cobblestone. That impression changes quickly when you get to the entrance. The entrance looks like the entrance you would expect for a palace. On reaching the entrance, the security checked our name against the arrivals list, then a costumed colleague hit a big gong, and rose petals showered down from above. We proceeded to the hotel proper. At the covered entrance, a group of 4 met us with a diya, Jasmine flower garlands, and wished us welcome. A bellman unloaded our baggage and tagged it for delivery to our room. We were seated in the lobby, checked into the hotel, and provided with a welcome drink. We were then escorted to our room. From what I could tell, all guest rooms are on the 2nd floor. Great impression of the room, vibes of an old-time palace. The room was fully equipped with a modern bathroom; there is also a jacuzzi tub for individual or couples' use. We went down to the buffet restaurant to check about dinner, and asked about the other restaurant. The hostess took it as her mission to get us a table at the other restaurant, which requires reservations, then personally walked us over. First impression of customer service exceeded expectations. The food at both restaurants was excellent; the challenge was choosing from a big selection. In the morning we had breakfast, then met with the hotel historian who helped us plan out things to see in the Hampi area, including suggesting a schedule to visit the popular sights before the weekend crowds came into the area. In the evening, we again met with the historian who is also a naturalist, and went on a walk of the hotel grounds for bird watching, then the same in the adjacent nature reserve that is also part of the hotel grounds. The organized events included a talk by another historian about Hampi and the history of the area. We were at the Evolve Back Hampi Hotel for 3 nights; it was a great experience."
Royal Orchid Central Kireeti-Hampi Hospet ★★★★
"Very comfortable stay. Ambience in and around is excellent. Cleanliness is given due importance. Staff were very cordial. Food variety and quality were very good. Mr. Chandan in restaurant needs special mention for excellent service."
Hotel Priyadarshini Classic ★★★
"Nice and clean hotel. Staff service was excellent. It has a vegetarian restaurant which is also good. Stayed during the year end holidays. Easily accessed from both railway station and bus stand."
Vijayshree Resort, Hampi ★★★★★
"Usually I don’t write long reviews, but this place made me want to The whole property gives royal, heritage palace vibes — super beautiful and peaceful. They’ve got both indoor & outdoor activities, and a biiig pool to chill in. I stayed in Raya & Hemakuta — both rooms were really clean, comfy, and the staff was super professional and sweet. They also have buggy service to move around the property (trust me, you’ll need it — the place is HUGE ). There’s an in-house restaurant, and mornings feel extra special with a live flute artist playing — such a calm vibe. Came here from Bangalore for a peaceful break, and Vijayashree’s team really made sure I had the best time. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a royal + relaxing getaway ✨"
WelcomHeritage Shivavilas Palace, Hampi ★★★★

"Don’t waste your money here. We arrived in Hospet at 6am and were taken to this place by our rickshaw driver, who promised a room for 800 rupees just for the day. However, upon arrival, we were told the cheaper room wasn’t available and were instead charged 1500 rupees because the room had air conditioning. The room was certainly not worth 1500 rupees. It was in poor condition - we have stay in better places for the same price. The air conditioner initially wouldn’t turn on, and once it did, it functioned poorly. It barely cooled the room, kept switching off, and by the end of the day, it was actually hotter inside than outside. Given we were charged double for AC we felt completely let down when it didn’t work. The staff’s attitude didn’t help. They were unhelpful when we reported the issue, and toward the end of our stay, became quite rude. Since they knew we were only there for the day, it felt like they were rushing us out as they were trying to make us leave 3 hrs before the bus departure, even though we were half an hours drive away, telling us that we could get stuck at the train crossing and that the bus often leaves early. Which was not true as we booked via Redbus and get a phone call prior to arrival. What was most frustrating was the lack of honesty. This was the first time on our trip we were quoted a price upfront only to be charged more later. It left a bad impression. If you go to Hampi, because it is definitely worth a visit, always ask the name of the hotel your rickshaw driver is taking you to and look it up online first. If possible, make your own arrangements in advance to avoid situations like this."
