The hotel is opposite the train station, so it is very convenient to travel, the room is clean. Although the size is not very large, it is comfortable to live with air conditioning, we go to the summer, it is a bit comfortable, the shower in the bathroom is strong and the temperature of the warm water is well controlled. If you want to buy things at the train station, there is Coop, which is open 6-22 a.m. It's easy to walk to find food. Overall, I really like the location here.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Unione. The Hotel is right in the centre of Bellinzona 5-10 minutes from the railway station and right next to one of the castles. The Hotel itself was very nice. Pretty sure it had been recently renovated as the room was very clean and well decorated. Not massive, but plenty of space. It was equipped with a Safe, a mini fridge, a coffee machine and a hair dryer. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. The air conditioning was excellent. I didn’t eat in the restaurant, but I did have breakfast. Not a massive choice but plenty to choose from and it all tasted good. The staff were very nice. I arrived well before check in time and it was no problem to leave my bag until later. Overall, very happy and consider it was quite good value.

The hotel is located a short distance from the motorway exit and has free parking. The possibility of recharging electric cars for free with dedicated spaces is very interesting. The automatic check-in is a bit laborious and allows you to generate a QRcode with which you access the room and activate the elevator. However, the system does not always work the first time and this is a bit annoying. Abundant breakfast for all tastes. Excellent price considering the area.
