Decent hotel but definitely not 4 stars, maybe like a 3. The amenities are rather limited.

The hotel was in grait location close to the old center. Staff was very nice. The room was clean and spacious with grait view. The food atvthe hotel restaurant was delisious. We recomend !

I liked the hotel and the service was great. My stay was very pleasant. I recommend it!

Boa qualidade de serviço, ótimo pequeno-almoço e uma visita tranquila para a serra da estrela.

O serviço do hotel é, genericamente, bom. O quarto em que ficámos era espaçoso e tinha varanda, o que é sempre um extra interessante. Pena não terem atendido o meu pedido, nada extravagante, quanto a ter uma cama da casal, em vez de 2 camas single.

The room was clean, the staff polite, the food good and reasonably priced and location was great. However, the bed was as hard as sleeping on the floor and the pillows were foam pieces that were lumpy. The air conditioning was off, so the room was stuffy. If you don’t care about not sleeping, this would be a good place for a short stay.

We stayed a night at the Belmont Sinai Hotel during our recent Portugal road trip. The hotel was quiet, comfortable and had convenient parking. We decided to eat at the hotel instead of exploring options in town. A good decision - the food and service were excellent (thanks Carolina). A very nice place to stay.

Great location, great view from the window, good indoor restaurant. However, we weren’t told in advance that there would be a dance party in the lobby all night and the music was very loud so we couldn’t sleep. In addition the mattresses were very uncomfortable and there were little to no amenities in the bathroom.

The city of Belmonte is several miles from the train station and there are no taxi stands there. After we tried and tried to phone a taxi, we decided to call the hotel and ask them for help. They had a taxi pick us up within minutes. Hotel has a full restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food quality above average, and cost was reasonable. Rooms clean and well maintained. Baggage storage upon request, and there is an elevator. Good location for walking the town, and seeing the nearby valley. Belmonte has a Jewish neighborhood, castle, and five museums, of which you can purchase a ticket for all, and see all in one day.
