Hotels with Bars in Belo Horizonte

We went here directly from the Ibis in Vitoria which was amazing! Well....that can’t be said for this one. I checked in prior to arriving ‘because it would save time’ I was told on my email...errr, no it won’t, so don’t waste yours. The receptionist didn’t speak English. Well that’s ok because we’re not Brazilian and no other hotel speaks English either and we managed but Ibis states they do, so it’s a bonus. And in Vitoria everyone spoke English and were so helpful. There was someone in the office who came out and said in English we’d have to wait. After 15 mins waiting for the people in front to be sorted, the English speaking person came out and started checking us in. I explained that I’d done this online. Was told it didn’t matter, he still had to do it. Breakfast, that was a fiasco. We’d paid for this so went into the restaurant to be told we needed something. What? Tokens...the receptionist didn’t really believe we weren’t given them at check in. Breakfast: stale bread, stale cake, flies on food. The taxis outside are intimidating and take up all the space outside restricting you getting another lift from elsewhere. On leaving, all the vehicular entrances and exits were obstructed by several coaches unloading children. Would I recommend this one? No! There’s another couple in belo Horizonte to choose from.

The hotel was very comfortable and well-functioned, but bad couchers, medium bed, medium shower and with little water, dryer and air conditioning did not work when we were using. And the two lifts in the site had operational problems at checkout time, so we had to climb up from stairs to the eighth floor. The other observations are less significant, but it is worth mentioning: the towels were screwed and sweaty, and the dirty walls, and I expected at least the room to work, for the value charged by the daily.

Fui destratado com muita falta de educação por um dos manobristas do hotel, pedi tranquilo uma informacao para ele chamando ele de Amigo, mas mesmo asssim antes de me responder ele disse na frente de todo mundo na recepcao com uma forte intonação: ” Primeiramente bom dia!!!”...fiquei inconformado pois a forma com que ele respondeu foi como se eu tivesse feito falta de educacao com ele...passou tanta coisa na minha cabeça mas a educação que eu recebi em casa me fez ficar em paz e ainda pedi desculpas ao rapaz caso eu o tenha ofendido porque não usei as palavras bom dia para ele...bom de todo jeito eu solicitei que ele nao manobrasse meu carro que paguei suados 370 mil por ele. Elevador sempre travado e nunca vai no 16 andar...as pessoas que trabalham no hotem nao estao nem aí para o cliente, a impressao que tive é que eu hospedar.lá era um favor para o hotel, pésssimo!!! Outra coisa, levei meu pet e na hora me exigiram cartao de vacina.dele...sorte que eu levei pq no app Hotels.com nao avisa em lugar.nenhum que precisa de cartao de vacina, sugiro que revejam estas informações, agente mal chega e já gera carga de stress.

The environment is very good

Great location, nearby many shops and restaurants. Room is spacious, bed is very comfortable, beautiful room view. The room wasnt cleaned 2x even after being asked. Room is a bit too ”bare” and dark at night even with all lights on. Also, with almost no amenities and bathroom too basic. Still, comfortable in general.

This hotel is clean and is in a nice location. Everything in the room functioned as expected, however internet speed was not great (adequate, not great). Read some of my other reviews and you’ll see a common complaint I make about hotels and that is no washcloth (or facecloth, whatever you call it). I had a bath towel, a hand towel and a floor bath at. I wash my face with a washcloth, just not in this room. Makes no sense to me. Also, a time or two, housekeeping did not leave me clean towels. The last day of my ten day stay housekeeping did not come into my room at all. The location is good, see,s to be in the middle of a lot going on and the big shopping mall is a short Uber ride away. Perhaps my biggest complaint about this hotel is the restaurant. The night I arrived I had work to do in the room so I ordered room service (which comes from the restaurant on first floor). I ordered a burger which I asked to be cooked well done and I very clearly said, “no red.” The person on the other end of the phone said, “yes, of course.” The burger was cooked around the edges and about 1/4” into it, it was blood red. It was room temperature or perhaps a little warmer but it was definitely not cooked. I called the restaurant to let them know they had definitely missed their mark on this one. They said “sorry” (That is all). The next night I went down to the restaurant. I ordered a steak medium well. It was a little more red than medium well, but it was tolerable. The last night I was there I was in the restaurant and ordered a steak. I asked “can I get that well done?” The waiter said with a serious, straight face, “No.” I said “whatever, have them cook it as well as possible.” Now I realize many people say it is a crime to cook a good piece of beef anything more than medium and those people can have their steak that way. When I am paying for it, you’d better cook it the way I want it and they would not do it. The restaurant had a great breakfast. Lucky for me there was a grocery store a block away so for dinner I went grocery shopping. If in Belo Horizonte again, I will likely return to this hotel. I will, however, know what to expect.

it is a hotel in the middle of the center , hyper-insecure area , full of homeless and drunk , the manager a disgraceful , energumeno q face a complaint does not solve anything only treats the tourist bad , has no parking , give you one to 3 squares , Nobody takes you the car , if you come in the night order God to return to the hotel , I was 2 days I returned the car at 23:00 and I left the hotel at 7:00 and I was charged the day q I went , Elevators do not walk more than 1 or 2 at the time of 3 , are old disappointed , dirty , writings you lack wall panels , a stick the ticket is for 3 people stop , breakfast only flour , the truth if you choose this hotel is a span

I found the hotel very good, in another hotel in BH in August was a bad experience. SAN DIEGO is clean, new, smellful, the rooms are small, but that is the less, the corridors have a carpet, which prevents noise, the coffee is very good (I just didn't like the pretence that is of bad quality or is presented). The next has a McDonald's, is on the streets with little movement, the attendants are hearty. 3 fast lifts, it never took to rise or down, the air conditioning is split and not window. Finally, a standard city hotel, which is not BH. I was staying two days and booked two rooms for four people, two in each.

The hotel is well located,comfortable,modern,the staff are perfect,excellent sleep night but the breakfast coffee does not follow the quality of the hotel,as good mining value a quality black coffee (which is not the case)and a fresh bread, bought on the day(because you have an excellent supermarket in the same quarter (which is not the case, bread is hard, hard to cut), I must also say that breakfast is NOT included on the day,it was paid, and the minimum you expect is a strong, incrusted mining coffee and a fresh bread. So, if you care about this factor, take your breakfast outside the hotel.

As always this was was an excellent experience. The staff is what makes this hotel! It is situated in a great location with easy access to transportation and great restaurants within walking distance. Very secure with no issues. The rooms were very clean. Comfortable beds. Hot water and AC. Quiet sleep. The Santa Fe breakfast is the best I have had in a hotel. The staff at the restaurant was always welcoming and they will make anything you want. Overall, I would rank the experience as a 10!
