"The Hotel is set in a very picturesque location in the Derbyshire Peak District. The room was very clean and comfortable, but basic. The only negative point I would like to mention was that there was no hot water for the duration of my stay, but I would not hold this against the hotel, as it was an unforeseen issue. I would recommend this place for a short stay relaxing break. The local area has some extremely friendly pubs and restaurants, along with some beautiful walks."

"Fantastic early evening meal, the menu here full of hugely tempting offerings, it's actually a struggle to choose which of the tempting options to plump for (so we'll have to go back soon to avoid FOMO). Beautiful location, friendly and welcoming service and the food is top notch, the Bear Inn is the total package and I'd warmly recommend it."
