Holiday World Village

The location is convenient, close to the beach and public transport. Guests appreciate the friendly staff, incredible sea views, and spacious, clean rooms with modern amenities.

We arrived at the Holiday World Village at 1pm after an early morning flight and received a warm welcome from the reception staff and the TUI holiday rep. We were quickly checked in and informed that our room wouldn’t be ready until 2pm which was fine as we were able to leave our bags at reception and have lunch in the restaurant. The TUI holiday rep was extremely helpful as I left my bag on our transfer coach and he went to great lengths to retrieve it for me to which I was very thankful! Our room upon arrival was lovely and clean with fresh beds and clean wardrobes. The room itself was slightly dated and could do with a slight upgrade but generally very nice. The shower was fantastic and definitely a highlight. The food in the hotel was exquisite, fresh and cooked to a fantastic standard. The queues for food could sometimes be really long but the staff were extremely helpful and worked hard to keep everything stocked. We dined in the two onsite restaurants both of which were really nice and the food was great. The Italian restaurant lacked variety on the menu and we all ended up choosing pizza for dinner which was a bit of a shame. The burger restaurant was by far the highlight of our dining experience. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Food came out fast, hot and was delicious! Waiting staff were absolutely amazing and even came out with a surprise bottle of Champagne and a cheesecake for my mums 60th birthday! Fantastic experience and we absolutely loved it! The pool facilities in the hotel were brilliant with multiple pools available with adjacent bars for drinks and snacks. At the time of our stay, the outdoor pools were a little too cold but the indoor pool was on hand and always available for us to use! The indoor pool also included two jacuzzis and a sauna which was lovely. To use the indoor pool there was an additional charge (€3.50) for a swimming cap which was great for keeping the pool clean. The staff in the indoor pool were really friendly and happy to accommodate us without a booking. The entertainment in the hotel was great and included shows and interactive activities for the children. My son thoroughly enjoyed the dancing and singing in the club! There was also an arcade and cinema room which was used for football matches too which was great! There was also lots of seating for drinks and card games in the evening. During our stay there was lots of high school children who were staying in the hotel to complete in a sporting competition. The hotel was full of children who were often very noisy and running around screaming. This did dampen the experience slightly but was dealt with by the hotel staff effectively. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The facilities were spotless all the time, staff were really friendly and welcoming. We loved the entertainment and food was great. We will definitely be back again.
