"What a pleasant surprise! Although older, our room was spotless, just the right size, quality towels and a very comfy bed. Snacks and drinks were available in the room for purchase also - a nice thought. The price included breakfast which was a bonus. Fantastic location when going to Ulumbarra theatre. Service was great."

"The hotel is close to the CBD, a 10-minute walk to the city center, galleries and art districts. Behind the hotel is the gold mine and tram station. Opposite the hotel is Pizza hut, and Beechworth bakery (open 6:30am~6.00pm). The hotel owner is very friendly and can park for free"

"The staff at the reception were all very friendly, which made check-in a pleasant experience. It took about 10 minutes to walk from Bendigo Station to the hotel, and there’s a bus stop right in front, which is great for people without a car. Our room was on the ground floor, so the view was a bit blocked by trees, but it was still a comfortable place to stay for a night."

"Nice cosy clean room with car park right in front of the room. The staff are all very friendly & helpful and the food and service in hotel restaurant was good. They have happy hour & tapas from 4 to 5.30pm. The bath room also has heater which was great in winter. Overall a good place to stay for the night."
