This hotel is very poor the breakfast is what we would call ok and snack bar is edible however evening meals are disappointing to say the very least. The staff are very funny about what drinks you can have on all inclusive and pull their face a lot and are not very friendly. Also the so called family entertainment is non existent u get about 1 hour and you won’t understand it if ur English as its all in Spanish and there idea of entertainment is sticking on just dance also rooms are full of ants and they bite a lot. PLEASE TAKE NOTE THE MAIN POOL HAS BEEN FILLED USING SALT WATER AND CAUSED MOST OF MY FAMILY TO GET SUN STROKE AND CAUSED BURNS TO SKIN AND ILLNESSES, it is very dangerous

Really good hotel in the centre of Benidorm. There’s a slight hill to get up to it but very easy. Surrounded by multiple supermarkets. Very clean and has two pool options.

Hotel Gala Placidia in Benidorm Alicante, April 2026. Great vibes. Room on 7th floor. Fantastic value for money. Staff extremely friendly and Hotel very clean.

Nice place to stay, near shops,near plenty restaurants and walking distance to the beach, lovely hotel, good breakfast and love the vegetable paella...

This hotel is ok, the rooms are dated. But we didn't spend our trip in the room. The staff are friendly and the food is ok, you wouldn't starve. We paid extra for premium drinks, which I'm glad we did. Overall we had a good long weekend in Benidorm.

Food I was sooo pleasantly surprised. Came not expecting much but enjoyed it. Staff were so nice. Vanessa behind the downstairs bar makes the BEST pina colada and was lovely. Walls are thin and someone kept being such each night waking us up so sleep wasn’t great but obviously not hotels fault. All in all. It’s a great location, good value for money. Be aware the transfers won’t drop u/pick up outside the hotel so you have to walk and find it yourself without any instructions.

Came to gala for my sisters 40 th last weekend and had a fabulous time. One bar man was rude but all the others where lovely if you take the time to be nice and pleasant to them then they are the same back Check in was straight forward we where allocated the family room 115 and it was great was a big room with 3 beds and pull out bed no balcony but not bothered as weather was not good, had foam mattress and foam pillows a lovely walk in shower my sister is disabled so we requested a walk in shower rooms cleaned daily and clean towels kettle and a small fridge was also in the room. Drinks where plenty and ok Food was also luke warm but they is a microwave and plenty of choice Snack bar does burgers hotdogs toasties and crisps the poor barman was doing both and doing a good job just be patient he is doing his best You get a plastic token for a plastic cup when you go outside don’t lose it and don’t forget to return your cup or will have to pay for another one It can be very noisy so if your a light sleeper take ear plugs I’ve learnt thro past experience but 115 was lovely and quite All in all I had a blast and already looking to book again hubby will be their in may

Stavros the bar man did a stupid ice trick then I seen him poo in the pool fully clothed, absolutely disgusting, very unprofessional!!

Stayed for 8days, one adult + 2 children Hotel staff was all very polite and very friendly from reception to room cleaner. Rooms and common area were always clean, rooms will need some maintenance soon eg curtains wouldn’t fully close, toilet seat was a bit loose, soap dispenser not working etc There’s also a lot and I mean a lot of noite from 8am. It didn’t wake up the tired children but woke me up every morning.. basically rooms aren’t soundproof at all which means you can hear not only people getting out of their rooms but also the maid cleaning upper rooms moving beds etc etc don’t expect to sleep past this! I’ve read some reviews about food being cold and menu was very repetitive. Food was definitely not cold (even plates were warm) and everyday they’d try to cook dishes from a different country. I can’t say it’s the tastiest food I’ve ever had but was good enough and definitely kept kids happy. We went on full board and I’m happy I didn’t pay for all inclusive - from what I could see the snacks were mainly fried stuff, burgers and some pastries.. The restaurant was always busy but somehow I never had to wait for a free table and waitresses were always happy to help and were quick to pick dirty dishes away.. My main concern at the restaurant was a few flies around some of the food, mainly deserts and starters. If I may, I’d suggest breakfast should open for slightly longer.. due to the night entertainment kids would just go to bed around 23h30-00h which doesn’t give them enough rest. Entertainment is poor, there’s 3 young staff that do try but clearly don’t have enough experience.. for instance for pool basket they’d just drop a basket and a ball and would bugger of somewhere . Twice they brought an inflammable slide to the pool and that was definitely their favourite thing. At night time there’s some entertainment - it was good enough for the children so can’t really complain, but the favourite ones were brought from the outside though (parrot show, circus show, magic show) The microphone and speaker definitely definitely need updating.. it’s painful to hear - hurts the ears, hurts he head, hurts the soul 😂 It’s mentioned on the hotel website there’s a kids club suitable for children up to 12yo so parents can relax. There isn’t. I had to ask 3 different people about this and then I was told kids club it’s at the Dynastic hotel and I’d have to stay there looking at them so .. what’s the point? It’s probably worth it to take this information away and if it comes to it invite them for one or two activities during the stay. Overall it was a brilliant week away and kids were as happy as I ever seen them so in the end that’s what matters. I’d definitely come back (and they’ve asked me to) Thank you all 🙏

I have been to this hotel on many occasions all inclusive, you have buffet breakfast lunch and dinner between breakfast and lunch there is a limited snack service, afternoon i believe is 5-6.30pm there is another limited snack service, but how often do you need to eat? in my opinion the food is very good with plenty choice, themed menus on an evening, the drinks for a budget AI are very good, the rooms are cleaned daily, everything is quite modern looking, its a great location with been close to the ***** but far away enough to avoid the hustle and bustle, will throw in the negatives as everything is horses for courses, the hill of the main road is quite steep, i wish there was a mini fridge in room, maybe a kettle, but this could increase the price so bare this in mind, all the staff are friendly, there has been over the years a couple bad apples but they seem to have now left, the evening entertainment is a bit hit and miss but you are in benidorm with all the live entertainment, so who stays in the hotel every night? not sure if any of the rooms have walk in showers if you have mobility issues which is now something i have to look at, overall its its great bang for buck with many returning guests! its suits me and my partner is we like it as a relaxing friendly base, but we also still like to go out for the entertainment and sample some of the local eateries, we can all go to different places and find fault, we do not look under the bed for fluff or bit of dust that you have to stand on tip toe to find, do not be that Karen ;0)

Briiant location, food was very good, different option every night, I'm a fussy eater and always worry about food being undercooked when abroad, but food here was done to perfection. Staff are the most, genuine people, and they really do have their guest interests at heart. All the staff are friendly, from reception the moment we arrived, to the hall for food, bar staff outside, everyone is genuinely kind. The cleaners are great, very respectful, keep your room clean and tidy, always present you with a smile. The pools are brilliant, no sunbed wars ( pool doesn't open to guest until 10am ) we got a sunbed everyday, pools are big, there's two of them, and the snack bar besides the pool is fantastic. The location is great, few minutes walk to the indoor market, beach around 10 minutes walk. Honestly, anyone looking to stay here, I'd recommend it, I've been to many hotels and this one is up there with the best, I don't know why it's a 3 star hotel, should be higher. The whole place is just great, and we will be returning.

Fast check in nice room pool view clean no kettle or fridge cleaned every day bath in shower. Stay all inclusive fine until last day finished at 12 but didn't arrive till 6pm first day i think this is very wrong they do it no matter what time you arrive. Food was ok staff were great best thing about hotel in all very clean and nice hotel all inclusive for last day let's them down so because of that would probably not stay again. Everyone says about noise in rooms in didn't get disturbed personally.
