The apartments are very good, regular cleaning. Kitchen equipped with just enough, the truth is we were able to manage. Two 90 beds joined together served as a double bed. We were on the 13th floor and the views were spectacular, what I liked the most was the terrace, with a glass railing. The location is good, Out of the hustle and bustle, but close to everything. On a hill, views of it, the city and the Sea. You can use the facilities and activities of the hotel around the corner. Heated pool, sauna, gym, entertainment. The receptionists were very friendly and solved a problem with the reservation. If you come in summer, the apartments have swimming pools downstairs with a solarium area. In general it is very good. The building reaches the 33rd floor, it can be seen from any point in Benidorm, very high. There are vending machines with water and food.

Apartment was roomy, clean and fresh looking. Everything needed for s/c. There's an oven but no shelves, so I gathered they don't want people to use them. Room 17c, lovely view. Washing machine, airers, hairdryer. Didn't pay extra for internet, and the connection was great. TV with some English channels, some hotels charge extra for internet &TV. Can use all the hotel facilities including, the free bus into town.No safe in the rooms, which was disappointing, so we just hid our valuables when we went out. There's a full length mirror and I didn't realise on the first night that there were blackout roller blinds, as they were hidden behind the actual curtain You can rent one out in the hotel though. We had one drink at the bar, but only one as what we bought in town was half the price lol. It was an all inclusive hotel, but I didn't see any wrist bands and there was hardly anyone around the bar area, compared to our last stay. Lifts were a pain, and twice in our stay looked like they had been peed in, and the rest of the week, looked dry but yellow watermarks on the lift floors. They looked like they are not regularly cleaned. First 2 nights of our stay, we had blokes above us, shouting, swearing, throwing what looked like crisps over the balcony and plastic carrier bags, down passed our balcony. Hear this woman, shouting and screaming for the two same nights, one was until 6 in the morning, I wondered if she looked as rough as she sounded. Then the rest of the week, we had a great stay. We did have a leak in the bathroom, reported this, maintenance came in the morning, Literally 3 minutes, declaring he'd fixed it) then within 24 hours it was the same again, but we didn't say anything as we didn't want to be moved apartment so close to our last day. Bit of a mess up with getting transfer details. Then when that was sorted out transfer was an hour late. I would recommend this hotel if on a budget, are able to walk ok, not a family, or a prude. Found the staff professional and friendly.Washed up what we used, there's a dish washer if needed, tidied up a bit emptied bin. Got our deposit fine. Stayed here once before when they were Don Jorge Apartments.think if we come to Benidorm again though, we want to try somewhere else.

I try not to read too many reviews, but a few in our party did and were therefore slightly anxious for our stay. There was no need. We were a group of 12 women, staying across 3 rooms. All rooms were clean and tidy, and had huge balconies with incredible views. We were on the 26th floor. There are 4 lifts, only 3 working. There was occasionally a bit of a wait but nothing major. I think one morning we gave up and walked down, but it was around the time of checkout. After reading the common theme of delays in deposits paid by card we made sure we had cash. When you pay the deposit they make it clear that they expect the kitchen to be clean and the rubbish to be taken out. We made sure we did exactly that, as we would anywhere we stay, and we had no problem getting deposits back. A few reviews mentioned money going missing from rooms. We all left money/passports/valuables in our rooms. Nothing went missing. The pool at the Horizon Apartments is very small, and in the shade for most of the day. There is a large pool down at the main hotel which is a 1 minute walk. There are plenty of sun loungers and a bar selling drinks and food, all at a reasonable price. The reception staff, cleaners and bar staff are all friendly and helpful, with the exception of one bar man who was quite rude on one occasion…..we come across rude people in every day life though don’t we so no stress! One of our party left her phone in a taxi. The reception staff couldn’t be more helpful, ringing to taxi company to try and locate it on multiple occasions. Yes the hotel is up a big hill. We knew that before we arrived though as we always look at the location before booking. The free shuttle bus is a god send though every 20 mins. A taxi is less that 5 euros, Every taxi driver was friendly and helpful. For the price we paid to stay I would definitely return, and would definitely recommend.

Second time here. Its located uphill a little out of the way, but everything easily reached within 15 minutes walk, plus, the hotel has a courtesy bus every 20 minutes until 20.30 that drops you near the beach, opposite McDonald's. Taxis easy to get and typically between 5 and 7 euros. Can't fault the apartments, well equipped, dishwasher and washing machine coffee maker, it was the in laws first time in Benidorm and they were very impressed. Minor niggles raised with reception and immediately sorted. Reception VERY clear that you need to take rubbish out on last day to get 200euro deposit back. Paid on card, left yesterday, deposit refunded today. Pool at neighbouring Benidorm East available for use by Horizon residents, nice area, plenty of sunbeds, there were activities on as well and the pool bar reasonably priced. Usual rant about people saving sunbeds all day but didn't stop us being able to get loungers. Just a shame grown adults felt it necessary to leave their rubbish lying around the pool after they left. Highly recommend the Pub on Calla de Londres for breakfast. Lovely food reasonably priced. Supermarket a 5 minute walk away Only niggle is the lifts. We were waiting AGES. We're going back again, same time next year. I think Benidorm Horizon is ideal if you like being a little way away from the craziness of the *****, but in easy reach of everything.

After reading all the reviews of this place I was dubious to how it was going to be. I was part of a group of 12, for a stag do. We had 3 rooms between 9 and 3 more people had their own rooms. We arrived around 13:00, we paid the €200 deposit per each room, the staff couldn’t have been any more accommodating and friendly, I don’t believe for a second the reviews about miserable staff, every single one I encountered was lovely. 4 rooms out of the 6 were ready and we were told to call back down in around an hour, when the others would be ready. Because some of our group had their keys we put our stuff in one of those rooms and headed out to have a look round Benidorm. We got back around 2 hours later and all rooms were ready. We were on the 31st floor. Everybody’s rooms were spot on, plenty of room, perfect for what we needed them for. The balcony’s were the highlights of the room, the view was absolutely incredible and were ideal for having drinks on in the sun. My only negatives about the rooms are that the floors were slightly dusty and the benches had crumbs on, also there is an espresso machine but there is no pods provided but we bought our own from the shop down the road for €2 so no problem. When entering the room, because of all the reviews I’ve read, we all took photos of any damages or marks in the rooms. Upon doing this we found a few faulty things such as lights and door handles, straight away I rang the reception who sent the maintenance guy up and everything was fixed without half an hour. Again, I was dubious as to the state of the apartment pool because of reviews but they couldn’t be anymore wrong. The pool is clean, yes it is cold but that’s because the apartments block the sun until after 13:00. There is plenty of loungers and never really anybody there, you can drink around the pool just not in or on the side of the pool, on loungers is fine. Finally, the hill is nowhere near as bad as everyone makes out, every single day and night we walked up and down it, but make sure you use the road going down to the right, as the one that goes past the main hotel to the left is steeper. We got all of our cash deposits back straight away in 15 minutes with no fuss. The 2 that paid on card got there’s back the morning after. The only downside of the apartments is the lifts, they’re so slow! The stairs are absolutely out of the question, there is 20 per floor. One of the lifts is constantly out of order and stuck on floor 34. There are 3 but they all take so long to get to the bottom floor. Because of this, on one occasion we over crowded the max capacity to save time and this caused the lift to drop from 0 to -2 and get stuck with us stranded inside. Thankfully some of our group were outside the lift at floor 0 so they could alert the main hotels reception or I honestly don’t think anyone would have come as the alarms did nothing. The maintenance guy came after 30 minutes and swiftly let us out, I am completely aware this is our

Let's start at the beginning. Check in- straight forward, and the staff were very helpful, we landed very late, or should I say early morning. So we had no issue with early check-in. We also paid the deposit in cash as recommended. The apartment was 34G, so the very top floor. The lifts are the slowest on the planet, but it's not the end of the world. The view was amazing, the beds were very comfy and on first inspection the room looked very clean. The rooms were ok, but there were some old carrier bags and bits of rubbish that had been left behind on a chair. The floors felt very gritty as there was sand or something on them. The bathrooms were very clean and tidy. The balcony was massive. We didn't use the pool at the apartments. We used the pool at the hotel only around the corner, and the pool was great. I know there are some terrible reviews on here, but based on our experience, it was cheap and we were very surprised and delighted by it. Oh, there are currently some building works going on on both sides of the hotel but it could hardly be heard.
