One O Eight Boutique Hotel

"Great location, 20 mins from O R Tambo. Very peaceful and safe overlooking the bridge sanctuary and lake. Lovely modern building with a pretty garden with a pool. We had the Egyptian Goose room which was spacious and very comfortable. Huge bed with comfortable firm mattress. Room overlooked the lake and had a very nice balcony. Bathroom was large with a spa bath and separate shower. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were excellent. Dinner is preordered prior to arrival but was cooked fresh in front of us in the open kitchen. Honestly the quality of the food was fantastic, much better than expected and better than the 5 star hotel we had stayed in the previous few nights. Throughout, service was excellent. Hotel was spotlessly clean. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for airport overnights. If it were in a more touristy area I would definitely use it as a base."

"We stayed at this beautiful clean hotel with our friends who was celebrating their birthday. It is an amazing place. The service is the best! Elegant, charming and everything is close to perfection. The rooms decoration and jacuzzi is something beyond words. Pillows were fluffy and soft I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The food is very tasty and the staff including the owners are very friendly and made sure we have evethting we need and treated us as if we were the only guests. The birthday celebration was a perfect success and we will definitely celebrate all our big days here. I definitely recommend this place."

"The bed was not comfortable, we slept with the key outside our door because we couldn’t remove the key on the door. The receptionist says she calling maintenance but left without seeing anyone. The bed makes so much noise."
