The room was super spacious. I was initially worried about the soundproofing since it's by the road and the beach, but it turned out surprisingly quiet. It was well-stocked with all kinds of toiletries, and the place was very clean.

The environment is excellent, and transportation is fairly convenient. The sand baths are very close, and the room is right by the beach, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. There's also a park nearby. The only downside is that dining options are limited. The room even has a hot spring!

Having stayed in both the Premium and Standard rooms, I can say the Premium room's open-air bath is definitely worth the extra 50,000 won. The only real difference is the tub, but the open-air bath is spacious enough for two or more people to soak together, and having a small window with an ocean view was a great touch. The standard room, on the other hand, just feels like a regular bathtub that runs hot spring water.

Easily our favorite hotel of the entire trip to Fukuoka, Japan 💕 Clean, comfortable, and you open the door to a stunning beach view. The overall vibe is so relaxing, making it the ultimate choice for a getaway 🏖️

Perfect. Came for the sunrise while bathing in the onsen. It delivered exactly that experience and more. Highly recommended for travelers would want to wind down in style.

Room is good and so does Onsen. Location is good too. Only downside is room a bit small. Rest can’t complain tbh.

The previous reviews are spot on. The entrance is indeed a bit hard to find, and Google Maps doesn't quite get it right. It's actually right at the intersection of Daigaku Dori (Rikushoen) – turn in at the traffic light, at the road sign for Beppu University (see pictures 1 and 2). The staff were excellent and very thoughtful. We bought some fireworks ourselves, and they helped us set up with water and a bucket so we could light them on the sand. The shampoo and hairdryer were great! This is the only place in Beppu where you can enjoy sand baths. You can choose to just go for the sand bath, but it's super convenient to stay there and walk over. Do note that the sand bath costs extra. The room has a beautiful view and is quite spacious. It was just too hot in summer, so we didn't get to fully enjoy the private onsen. The only downside is that it's next to a main road, so it can be a bit noisy.

We could adjust the bath temperature ourselves, and the service was also really good!
