Dinner had other options, but our reservation included a "hell steamer," which was rather average. Breakfast was decent. However, the hotel offers a hell steamer experience; you can buy your own ingredients and borrow utensils from the front desk—it's a great late-night snack. We stayed in a bungalow with its own hot spring. The rooftop hot spring on the upper floor has an amazing view, and there's also 24-hour free apple juice and beer—it's fantastic!

It's just so-so! A very old hotel.

The hotel is located near the Blood Pond Onsen, on a hillside. We drove there and took a slightly hidden route, passing another intersection. Upon arrival, the owner explained the dinner and breakfast times in detail and led us to our room. The room had a private onsen bath and a tatami area, all in a traditional Japanese design. Dinner was very plentiful, including an unforgettable Wagyu beef shabu-shabu. It's definitely worth a visit again!

It's even better than I imagined; it has both private and outdoor hot springs.

This is my second time staying at Kannawa Onsen Hotel. Both rooms have their own hot spring and one night and two meals. However, the hot spring water this time is not too hot🤔 There are several hot spring baths on the top floor of the hotel that can be used for free. The surprise is that the self-service beer and coffee lounge area on the second floor has been renovated. The place is very comfortable. After soaking in the hot spring, it is very comfortable to rest here and drink a beer while looking at the cherry blossoms outside.

The room is nice and big. The semi-open-air private hot spring in the room is big and comfortable. There is an open-air hot spring on the top floor of the hotel. There is a 24-hour private bath available without reservation. We booked a one-night stay with breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and rich. The staff was very polite and welcoming.
