Services was bad. When we arrived, there was no one at thw receiption. Only 2 kids that barely know anything about the booking. Water so slow, and there was bed bugs everywhere.

The owners are friendly and helpful. Although there's no reception, it feels like staying at home, with no strict rules, making you feel very free. One morning, I mentioned I needed to eat something because I was hungry. The owner kindly cooked mee goreng free of charge. However, the hot water wasn't working very well. Adi was very friendly and provided a detailed explanation of how to climb Mount Sibayak, including important points to consider. He also helped me repair my rented motorbike. Big thanks to the owner!

We arrived late around 9pm , need to wait for them to fill in water inside the tank. Hot water on and off.. downside on this. The bed is very comfortable though. Very cool weather, just open the window a bit only the cold air acts as aircond. For breakfast they serve fried rice. Overall, u get what u pay for. Luckily we just stay for 1 night only, this rest house is suggested by our tour guide..

We stayed at Sapo Karo Rest House as a family, booking 2 rooms. The location is very good—close to main attractions in Berastagi but still peaceful and calm. The environment is relaxing, perfect for family bonding and rest. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the surroundings felt safe and quiet. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!

I just love everything! Short stay as we arrived late also, and we check out early morning before 0800. The only thing my room the water heater is not functioning and we are too exhausted. Managed to get bath with the cold water 🫠

We came to this hotel on night and everything have been prepared for us. We enter to the room straightaway and prepare to sleep. Book two standard hotel since we have 5 people. Even though its cheap, but we have a great stay to rest. There are hot water in the toilet room. There are no fan and a/c because the room already so cold.

We arrived quite late at night and the staff was very helpful.. the room was okay and reasonable for the price.. the view in the morning was very beautiful. The staff was very friendly..
