Danau Toba International Cottage Berastagi

The place is run down with old amenities. However the place is with superb view of gunung sinabung and gunung sibayak. The place is very quiet and chill. Come with personal transport is easy access. Read other review before booking, so expected as per others review. Book this place is because of the stunning view. Love the place view. Hotel room is spacious. I would revisit again because of the hotel scenery and peace relax feel.

An old hotel, the staff speak basic english but are friendly and try to help, on first day they brought us the breakfast to the room, on the second day it was at the restaurant but we didnt know had to ask first. But room is giant and lots of space. Great view from terrace. Breakfast was ok, tee and fried rice

The service was very bad. When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist said there were no rooms available even though it had been booked since last year. I am very disappointed with their service.👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

We booked 2 nights but stayed only one. There were many issues. Bathroom was dirty No tissue paper in Bathroom or the office The door to terrace would not open The Louvres would not close A fire was lit near our room, smoke filling the room The shower hose was split and water drain out of the bottom The swimming pool was only 70 % full The hotel looked unloved.

Take note that this is an old hotel, not very well maintained, not your regular hotel standard BUT the view is breathtakingly GREAT!! You’ll be overlooking Gundaling Hills surroundings and a good view of Mt. Sibayak & Mt . Sinabung, so I did not mind what it was lacking (and its fair for the cheap price). If you ask me if I will be back, my quick answer is YES (for a night or 2 especially if I plan to hike Mt. Sibayak)!

Lovely location, we had a personal driver, but might be a bit tough to get to without. Breakfast was delicious! Room are nice and spacious. The only downside, our room had no toilet paper and when I requested some, the front desk couldn’t find and gave use paper/plastic napkins, apologized, said that’s all they had.

Not much amenities and location is very hard to get transportation but the view is amazing frok the room

My experience here was truly wonderful. The location was unbeatable, with key attractions just a short walk away. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, offering personalized recommendations and making me feel like a VIP. The room was tastefully decorated and equipped with modern amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi and a luxurious bathroom. I especially loved the on-site restaurant, serving delicious local and international dishes. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel offers everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
