We stayed in a cottage-style room for two. As expected from a luxury hotel, the exterior was impeccable, the breakfast was relatively good, and the staff's hospitality was also commendable. However, our room had several issues:
- Upon check-in, we found a cockroach-like insect in the bathroom (a staff member who was present immediately caught it by hand and released it outside).
- Multiple insects were found on the towels and in the bathroom.
- There was absolutely no hot water from the shower.
Considering the high price, it felt like most of the revenue was invested in the exterior, leaving the interior neglected. It was quite a terrible experience.
Of course, I can't speak for other room types, but given the price, I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel in the Brastagi area.
Incidentally, I also stayed at two other guesthouses for about a third of the price of this hotel, and both had reliable hot water, which was surprisingly delightful. I really hope they invest properly in improving the interior, not just the exterior.
