Great location! Cute outdoor patio for a really nice breakfast. Nice and clean interiors. There’s a gym but we didn’t get to use it. 20 minutes walk to cita alta. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is really nice . It’s in center of the city. We spent two days at the hotel. Bergamo is beautiful. The staff is amazing . Very friendly and helpful. They advised us very good restaurants for dinner.

A very welcoming hotel Francesco the hotel manager and his staff are really helpful. Rooms size and service excellent. It is really in the center of Bergamo and in very quiet area. Looking forward to visit again Hotel Petronilla. To be recommended

I loved this hotel. The staff are superb - everyone I spoke to was helpful and very friendly. The room was big and very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless with everything you need. Breakfast was great. Small outside terrace very peaceful for relaxing at the end of the day.

Such a lovely few days in bergamo & this hotel is a little gem!! Very modern, very boutique & the staff are just amazing, an absolute credit to the hotel. Francesco was just one of the nicest people I've come across in all my travels! He was a wealth of knowledge in guiding us on where to go & took so much pride in his work! We returned to the Petronilla after 8 years, and I'm happy to report that it is just as lovely as ever. Very nice breakfast, with fresh fruit, eggs made to order (deliciously), good coffee, and pastries. The staff is kind and helpful, with meticulous attention to detail. By Italian standards, the bathrooms are spacious, and also nicely designed. Our room (4th floor) was charming and comfortable. The Petronilla is in a perfect location, quiet but walkable to everything (if you don't like walking up hills, there is a funicular to go to the upper city). Highly recommended!

Lovely little boutique hotel. Very helpful staff. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Perfect for a short stay. Nice area with local bars and restaurants. I now have 57 characters to use and have little else to say except Bergamo was an afterthought but a great experience.

We stayed for three nights at this hotel and I cannot find fault with it. It's a walk away from all the things you'd want to see in Città Bassa (the modern part of town) and also from the bus stop or funicular that take you up to Città Alta (the historic part). There are 12 stylish rooms, bathrobes, slippers and complimentary water and sweet treats. If you have a car, there's no problem with parking as they have a garage. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Having said all that, I have to say that the highlight for me was the fabulous breakfast every morning. If the weather is nice you can have it in a pretty little courtyard garden at the back of the hotel. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel although, of course, quality like this has to be paid for.

Stayed for 1 night. Easy walk from airport bus drop off on new town. Everything (including the old town) is easily walkable. The hotel itself has an exceptional breakfast, super friendly staff and rooms clean and lovely. I would stay again if back in Bergamo.
