Dorint Kurfürstendamm Berlin

Honestly, one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had in a long time. I don't remember exactly how many stars this hotel has, but I normally don't book anything below 4 or 5 stars. Based on the actual experience, this felt much closer to a 3-star property. The interior is strange and looks very cheap. The rooms are reasonably large, but everything feels old, worn out and has an unpleasant smell. The hotel is clearly overdue for a full renovation. Nothing feels fresh or well maintained. The sink was draining so slowly that it was almost impossible to use. While the room wasn't dirty, everything looked tired, outdated and heavily used. There was no drinking water in the room. These days it's pretty much standard to provide at least a couple of bottles of water. If the tap water is safe to drink, the hotel could at least inform guests about it. The minibar was completely empty as well. I called and requested a toothbrush and toothpaste. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I eventually went down to reception and got them myself. The funny part is that the requested items were finally delivered only after I had already collected them myself and was getting ready to leave the room. Overall, a very disappointing stay. Large room sizes alone cannot compensate for outdated facilities, poor maintenance and lack of basic service standards.

It is a good hotel for a family to stay via travelling Berlin. The hotel location is good.

Good location, large rooms. We have been to this hotel for many years, but unfortunately, this year, starting with the reception day, the smell of fried fish is terrible, like a cheap eatery. All the furniture in the room is worn out, the bed creaks a lot. For 5 stars - you need to ask for a dental kit at the reception, water-compliment put 1 small bottle for 2 people.

Not feel comfortable with Front desk staff.

Good location which is like 3 minutes walk to the underground. A lot of restaurants nearby in which you will not have any problem for food. The rooms are clean and the staff are helpful.
