InterContinental Berlin

The room's cleanliness was concerning. The coffee machine was full of limescale and coffee stains, and it was broken – completely unusable, didn't even turn on. A staff member came and said they'd replace it, but it was never swapped out before I checked out. The bathroom fixtures were covered in white limescale. The most absurd thing was finding a cherry pit in the crevices of the room's chair?! (See photo 1) That's just ridiculous. The room I booked was listed as having a garden view/city view, but what is this? (See photo 4) A rooftop view?! I stayed at an Inn the past two nights, and tonight at an Intercontinental – same hotel group, but both had damp sheets and overly soft pillows. Terrible. I'll never book an Intercontinental property again.

The location is excellent, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a lively area. The hotel's cleanliness and service are also remarkable. Highly recommended.

I went to Berlin with my bicycle this time. After swiping my credit card at the hotel on the first night, I didn't take out my wallet again until noon the next day. I realized my credit card was missing, but unfortunately, it was nowhere to be found – a strange disappearance. Aside from that, the hotel was alright.

The room was very clean. The doorman was helpful and took out the trash, which was a nice touch. The front desk staff, cleaning crew, and customer service were all great. The only thing is they require a 200 euro deposit, which is refunded 7 to 14 business days after check-out, with the city tax deducted from it. I hope my deposit is returned promptly, thank you.

Superb breakfast, excellent spa area, fantastic rooms, slow service at the bar, and not enough variety.

This is my top choice for business trips. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a park. It's clean and tidy, the breakfast is varied and plentiful, and the service is attentive. The pool and spa are paid amenities, and pets are allowed.

Absolutely terrible! Worse than a Family Mart. Despite providing my membership number, as a Platinum member, I didn't get breakfast, nor was I upgraded. Everything was just awful. I later stayed at a much cheaper Marriott, and it was significantly better.

Excellent location for a trip with kids. It's close to the zoo, which is a huge attraction for the whole family.

This hotel is excellent. The front desk staff were very understanding. Due to a flight issue, I booked the hotel for three days but could only stay for one. This wasn't the hotel's fault, but my own. When the hotel learned of my situation, they kindly upgraded me to a suite free of charge as a gesture of compensation. The room I stayed in was truly wonderful.
