smartments Berlin Prenzlauer Berg

The studio was modern, and very cozy. Although it is about 20 square meters, the space is well designed and feels comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for cooking, making it very convenient for a longer stay. The bathroom was medium-sized, clean, and functional. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable place to stay, and I would happily recommend it.

I liked the clean room with modern furniture, central location next to public transportation, great amenities with kitchen.

The room wasn't super clean and it wasnt cleaned at all during our stay. Not even the garbage was taken out and we weren't provided with any spare trash bags even. Also, when we arrived the trash can was already full and smelled of spoiled food. The self check-in process is confusing and annoying and I saw many people (myself included) having trouble entering the hotel before their check in, as it isn's clear how to enter the building without your room card keys. Coupled with the shady (although admittedly very convenient) area the hotel is located in, this made for an unpleasent first impression. The hotel advertises they offer 24/7 communication, however most requests are handled by an artificial intelligence caht bot, which is not particularly helpful. Furthermore, I'm still waiting for a response for some lost items more than 2 weeks after my check-out.

Automatic check-in. Minimal staff. But property in excellent condition, newly built.
