Hotel Chateau Kurfurstendamm

I have stay diffirI have stayed in several different Accor hotels, but this hotel does not immediately deliver to the Mercure standard and 4 stars. The reception: We experienced from the arrival that the receptionists, it was more like a duty job, more than making the guests feel welcome. When you arrived at the hotel after been out in town , they never said hello, normally when you pass a reception you just get a smile on the way, and possibly a hello, here nothing even if they only look on the screen no reaction. Only on the last day was there one said good morning, i chock little, and when asked when check out, if it was ok, just didn't have the energy to explain that the standard was missing. The breakfast Was nice and delicious especially the first few days when e.g. bacon was crispy and delicious, nothing was missing from the buffet, but the sloppy bacon the last few days could have been better. Cleaning We skipped cleaning after the first night, but ask for an extra roll of toilet paper, there is nothing to do but run out. The rest of the days we had cleaning, and on the last day we had not received an extra roll of toilet paper, unfortunately it was only discovered when it had to be used, which meant visits to the toilet with missing paper as a result. In any case, it can be done better by always having a roll in use and a spare. Maintenance We live in Europe, where you go up in climate and pass on resources such as water and heat, our toilet ran with water the first morning, which I told the reception. She didn't seem particularly interested, but wrote it down. The toilet was also not running when we came back later. But after the first use it ran again. So that's why we chose to have the cleaning done the following days, since thinking green and about the climate was perhaps not that important to the hotel after all.

The staff was friendly. I had a problem with the cleanness of the room. The staff manage another upgraded room with a late check inn option. like to stay again.
Best Western Plus Plaza Berlin Kurfuerstendamm

Rooms in clean condition, water cooker has provided very good services. Hotel is in the first class position directly on Ku'damm. How a room has taken to the street since the courtyard is a huge building site. Air conditioning is very good. Restaurant directly in the hotel. Something unusual, the rolling stairs that lead to the reception. Beds were really good. I missed a minibar in the room. I think it might be a little too high from the price performance ratio.
Hampton by Hilton Berlin City West

We stayed at HI Berlin City West for 3 nights. Hotel is two blocks from Savignyplatz station with lots of shopping and dining options in the Ku’damm district. Kadewe is a few stops by bus. It’s also two bus stops from the Zoo station which is a major bus and train terminal. S9 takes you directly to BER if you need to catch a flight. The hotel is reasonably priced, updated modern and very clean. Typical European breakfast buffet included has lots of options like cold cuts, fresh fruits, bread, scrambled eggs, waffles, bacon, yogurts, etc. Housekeeping was done every day. The most important asset is the staff. Max L. was extremely helpful and enthusiastically helped us with all our requests. The only concern I have is we were assigned to a room on one side of the hotel which faces the train track. The train schedule is limited at night but we are light sleepers. Mary K. diligently and promptly resolved our concern about the noise and moved us to a higher floor.

The courtyard view room where I sleep alone is very uncomfortable except that it is dark without the overhead lights. Is everything OK? The trash can in the bathroom is not particularly good, and I hope I can fix the small lamp in my room. The environment is very nice and quiet
Leonardo Hotel Berlin KU'Damm

This is the second hotel I stayed while visiting Berlin. Having spent most of my life managing hospitality properties I feel as though the Leonardo deserves a shout out. If I’m not mistaken this hotel used to be called Hotel California and was built as a 4-star property. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Refrigerator but no microwave and some features in the bathroom that are not everywhere. I had opted for the inclusive breakfast and it was a good decision. The spread was vast and if you went away hungry you had no one to blame but yourself. One more service - surprising to me especially given the change in US hotels post-pandemic is daily housekeeping service. Well done Leonardo - I’ll be returning to Berlin in the next several weeks and if you can accommodate me - expect to see me.
Hotel Q! Berlin

The was the nicest hotel that we stayed at during out entire three week trip. The hotel was clean, chic, and exciting while still being warm and welcoming. Our room was lovely and perfectly appointed with plenty of outlets and room to relax. The customer service was top notch. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We rented bikes from the hotel and it was the best day of our vacation. The hotel made it so easy and it was reasonably priced. I would not stay anywhere else when I return to Berlin. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is perfect! It's on a side street so it's not noisy but it is right up the street from an outdoor market, the zoo, and lots of other things to see. We sat outside and had food from the restaurant almost every evening and the food was delicious! We loved Hotel Q!
