We had a very enjoyable Sunday lunch here. Interesting menu, good food, pleasant staff, in a Georgian house with a view of the sea and sunshine - what more could you want for a Sunday lunch out? Also, to my relief, the vegetarian option wasn't a variant of risotto where every mouthful tastes the same!

Absolute gem of a hotel, lovely setting, lovely rooms, attentive and helpful staff and great food. Head up to the borders frequently and found this hotel by accident, but what a fantastic all round experience. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a really enjoyable stay. Our room was lovely with a view of the sea All the staff, in particular the restaurant staff were excellent. They really made us feel that we were friends Nothing was too much trouble The food in the restaurant and the bar was excellent. I only have one minor complaint that the lighting in our room and especially the bathroom was very dull which made putting make up on for me and shaving for my husband a bit difficult
