We have stayed here several times in the past year for our ski trips to Bretton Woods. Love the small town of Bethlehem and how we can walk, at night, safely to Rek-Lis Brewery/Pub. Gray food and beer there. Hotel staff is very nice, welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable beds. Great water pressure in shower. Loved having a frig in the room. Breakfast in am was satisfying. Had oatmeal with extras available but also had other options (waffles, egg sandwich, cereal, yogurt, bagels, English muffins). Good coffee too. We will be back!

Me, my daughter, and my grandson (oh, our pug also) thoroughly enjoyed this quirky, unique, and awesome old Inn! We had a great guy that checked us in, and met the Innkeeper who delighted in talking to my grandson about old coins. We were in a family suite on 2nd floor and we LOVED it...yes, the layout was different, but we loved the fact it had 3 different doors to enter/leave. As far as location, everything was steps from front door, and out back was a lovely river with covered bridge. We will be back again for sure!

We were in the area for activities at Mount Washington and accommodation options are very limited. We chose this option due to proximity to our early morning destination. However, the location leaves a lot to be desired. It is located in a commercial area across from Wal Mart and behind Applebees which may be okay to some but we had hoped to enjoy the city center. Unfortunately, it was too far to walk to town so we needed to drive. The facility itself was okay. It was clean but definitely would benefit from upgrades. Visible wear throughout the hotel both in public locations as well as the rooms. Pool and hot tub were decent but also outdated.

The environment is really good. The mountains and plains are covered with red, yellow and green colors. This is it. The golf course looks like an oil painting when photographed. However, such an expensive hotel does not include breakfast. There is only a buffet breakfast for 28 and there is not much to eat. I mainly eat fruits. The dinner at 1902 restaurant tastes good but is very expensive. They don’t even provide bread before the meal. They still have to buy it for 6 US dollars. I stayed in so many hotels this time, and this is the only one that has a bellman to help deliver luggage to the room because the elevator is too small. The tour that introduced the hotel was really good. The tour was supposed to be one hour, but the tour lasted an hour and a half. The service at the front desk was very poor. When I checked in, I was asked to swipe my credit card for a pre-authorization deposit. After eating two meals, I thought it was deducted from the deposit. I called the bank and said it was two pre-authorizations and one was credited to US$253 (meal fee). It’s a few dollars more than the deposit) It’s another pre-authorization for POS machine consumption that hasn’t been released yet. I don’t know what kind of trick this is. I only stayed for one night and two pre-authorizations were deducted from me. How did I use POS for the second deposit? The card machine didn't ask me for my credit card when I checked out.
