It was the worst hotel. I stayed because it was the stage of Pretty Woman, but I am dissatisfied. Arrived by UBER from the road side. There was a bellboy, but he didn't even help me unload my suitcase from the car. I'm just standing there blankly. Even though I checked in after 16:00, there was no twin bed room that I had reserved. When I complained, I was told to wait for 20 minutes, so I reluctantly went to the front desk. I decided to wait on the sofa next to it, but it didn't come to tell me that the room was ready even after 30 minutes. When I asked what happened to the front desk, they said that they had forgotten about it, and I didn't even think they were apologetic. I had a cup of tea at a stylish restaurant on the first floor with a view of the outside, but even if I asked the guide to pay the bill, he wouldn't move. After 20 minutes, the fourth person finally paid the bill. I received the lowest treatment even though I stayed at a super luxury hotel. On top of that, the hotel union was on strike, and from 6:00 in the morning to noon, we put up placards in the hallway of the hotel and shouted drums and shouted loudly. It's noisy and I can't relax. In the room, there was a notice paper and earplugs saying that the strike would cause trouble. The strike seems to have no end in sight. If I knew there was going to be a strike, I should have informed them before my stay and had canceled it. Even though I paid a high price, it turned out to be the worst trip ever. I think I was clearly racist from the front desk, bellboys, waiters and other hotel staff. Because they were amiable to white customers. Employees working in such a hotel understand the feeling of wanting to strike.

Each morning I would go into the cafe. I was greeted so warmly each time by Justin. He was professional, great service, and made wonderful Vanilla Lattes. He should be a manager. I say this cause our evening experience with others wasn’t up to par. The wine selection needs to be overhauled. Horrible selection and no Chardonnay . Back to Justin I am sure he could assist here too. It’s hard these days to find good reliable help. You all are lucky to have him on your staff.

We recently visited The Mosaic for a two-night stay. The location of the hotel was excellent, on a quiet street just off Wilshire and a stone's throw from The Peninsula where we had business. Our room itself was fine, and quite reasonably priced by Beverly Hill standards. However, the room was right next to the elevator and directly across from the housekeeping station, which disappointed us considering that the hotel did not seem to be hosting very many guests during our stay. Couldn't we have been assigned a different room? Accordingly, it was noisy outside our room, particularly in the AM with the housekeeping staff doing their thing and the trash pickup outside on Monday morning. Speaking of housekeeping, we did not receive any housekeeping during our stay, and we were never informed that we would not be nor were we asked if we might like to have housekeeping during our stay. In addition, we booked a room rate as part of which we were to receive breakfast, but I don't think the restaurant/bar was even open during most of our visit, a fact that nobody mentioned to us when we checked in. And, we were charged a mandatory ”urban bundle fee” of $30 plus tax per day which was said to include a complimentary welcome drink (which we did not receive) and ”other valued added amenities” to which I have no idea what they are referring to because as far as I can tell we got nothing. And finally, we were charged $50 daily for parking which was neither valet nor was it even secured parking. So, all in all, not a bad place to stay location wise, but I do not like it when a hotel makes promises that they can't keep and doesn't even have the courtesy to tell you about it or apologize for their shortcomings.

I had the best time here at the Maison140. I stayed for a week with my daughter who is 11. Considering I was on my own with her, I was a little apprehensive, but I didn't need to be. From start to finish our stay was brilliant. We has a  quick and easy check in (Roberto was lovely and very welcoming, and we was given 2 complimentary drink tokens each!) A $700 hold was taken which I knew about anyway, it was on my debit card, I was told that due to the debit card, it may take longer to be released upon check out, it was released within a day! I'm not saying it'll be the same for everyone, but try not to be put off by a few bad reviews regarding this. Our room was on the third floor, we used the lift, no issues (have no idea why people even moan about a lift!) Room was clean and very well looked after. Regarding a few of the negative reviews, yes the air con is quite loud, personally that didn't bother me at all. Also, I've seen a few reviews regarding a smell upon entering the hotel, again this was no issue to me, it's not a bad smell at all, just a normal hotel smell, if that makes sense. I decided to only have room service once as I needed new towels, this was no problem and was done for me the same day. And the added bonus of being able to use the pool at the Moisac sister hotel was fantastic, my daughter loved this and we enjoyed our (non alcoholic) cocktails here after a few long days sightseeing. All in all we had a great time and I can't recommend the Maison140 enough, from check in to check out we had a ball! Staff were amazing. We will definitely be back at some point I'm sure!

Those who are looking for a hotel that goes above and beyond, The Peninsula Beverly Hills is the perfect choice. From the minute we walked into the door, the hotel was 5-star in every single aspect. The rooms are beautiful and handy, from the digital tablet that controls all the settings for your room, the printer under the desk, the radio and television, to the continually replenished plate of fresh tangerines on the table, the floral curtain design, and the unique monogrammed pillows that you get to keep. They are spacious and light, thanks to their floor to ceiling windows. The location is convenient, walking distance to Rodeo Dr and other main streets and shops in Beverly Hills. Not to mention that the hotel offers free drop-offs within Beverly Hills, in either their iconic Rolls-Royce Phantom, Cadillacs or BMW limousines, a fantastic way of getting around! The rooftop area is ideal, and you mustn’t miss out on visiting it during your stay. Due to the size of the hotel, it being smaller than the others in Beverly Hills, The Peninsula feels more exclusive, is less busy and it enables the staff to pay more attention to individual guests. The pool, rooftop, gym and spa are all top-notch facilities. The staff are excellent, the building is beautiful, clean and well maintained, the food at breakfast is all one can ask for and the garden and lobby are full of divine, fragrant flowers. Of all the places to stay in central Beverly Hills, nothing comes close to The Peninsula standard, the epitome of luxury. WOW! My wife and I stay at every level of hotels from Best Western To The Roosevelt to Waldorf Astorias...This one impressed. First of all, the Valet was absolutely their for every guest. Non-judgemental about having a motorcycle delivered to their location, they were even curious about the BMW r1800! Travis (I believe his name was, he is the boss) has an incredible crew, as he himself was very pro-active. Friendliest and most responsive valet service I have ever seen! The Front Desk.. Attentive and welcoming. Very knowledgeable and expeditious in their service. As you walk through the beautiful lobby, the front desk is right to your right, along with the concierge (Dave ROCKS!)...no lines (On Memorial Day), and forthrite information. The Food... So delicious, The rooftop dining had a more casual atmosphere, with beautiful view of the Bev Hills Mountains. The menu is delicious, and (relatively) cheap. About $200.00 will get you a ice dinner, dessert and wine. All with great service. They have a new wine manager, at the time this review was written, who is full of knowledge and energy. The first floor restaurant, Espelette, has a new Executive Chef, Stephen..French...Lively personality and loves greeting his guests. My recommendations? Try the Bronzini, both restaurants are superb. The rooftop makes it over potato, with asparagus, while Espelette allows the fish to shine utilizing sides to compliment. The fish in Espelette is dried for 72+ hours, and is full of flavor..The true winner, though is the eggs benedict...OMG the creamiest Hollandaise I have ever had the joy of tasting bar none! The eggs Benedict is served with either ham or salmon, try both! And the service is incredible! The Room... Beautifully appointed with a touch of class..A mattress on the bed worthy of this level hotel..And maid service multiple times a day, and on call. So you never come back to a messy room! 24 hour in room dining... The Bad.. The only issues we ran into were considered minimal..and IMO, no fault of this property. The reservation people claimed they were at the hotel...they were not..the gave us misinformation, which is par for the course with hilton reservations...a never ending battle. And the house car did not show for the pick-up..the concierge said that the driver had called wondering where we were, and we called wondering where he was! I still give this property 5/5.

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights on a baby moon before heading to Palm Springs. Really enjoyed this hotel. The bed was comfortable, we were in a nice Jr. suite with a sitting area, huge marble bathroom, and a great palm tree view. Breakfast was really good - espcially with our status which made it basically free and the location (definitely need a car - it's LA, afterall) felt safe and nice. Downside was that there were 2 events the night we arrived - seemingly schmancy - which made the hotel a bit busier that one might like. That said, no noise made it up to our room, thankfully. Overall, would definitely stay again.

The service is very good, a very small design hotel! Facilities: The size of a sparrow is fully equipped. The restaurant is in the main building on the first floor. The breakfast is delicious and the coffee is free until 10 o'clock. Health: Not bad Environment: Very close to the city center, 10 minutes by taxi Service: Very good. It can be said that it is very different from other Marriott hotels of the same level.

The service attitude of the hotel is really very poor. After sitting down, wait for the waiter to order for 40 minutes, wait for 40 minutes to serve, and pay for the waiter everywhere. The waiter in charge of our table really couldn't find it during the meal, and let other waiters help people. It takes an hour to get a juice from the room. I ordered the hotel reception desk to send it up, call to politely ask if I can go on my own, I have to say that I have to wait for a long time to be back and say that it has not waited so long. When I was walking, I sat in the lobby sofa and took a break. I was also roused by the staff to wake up. ? Is it fun? I want to ask? Isn't it a hurry to see others waking up at rest? ? Really the first hotel that never wants to go back.
