Courtyard by Marriott Bhopal

I made a booking for three adults and paid in advance. When I arrived at the property at night, they insisted I pay for three people again. I explained the situation, but they forced me to pay an extra 40% more than what I had already paid online, without providing any valid reason. This hotel is a scammer, and I feel disappointed for the Marriott brand because I have stayed at Marriott hotels in different cities before, and they have never provided such terrible service. All that happened at night so we have no where to go. I have attached the photos for what I booked and what they were showing me to pay for more.

The check-in executive (name started with alphabet B) was terribly unprofessional and unlike what guests shall expect in hospitality industry. His exact name can be identified through video footage when i checked-in with my father) I also requested if he can connect me to the property manager on duty.. but he said he's the only manager. Later, another female executive clarified he was NOT the manager. I hope the Marriott management does something about him Additionally, the water in the bathroom seeps through the glass partition.. making the bathroom floor wet and slippery after shower. Moreover the toilet handspray is at the wrong side. I will strongly recommend travellers to avoid staying here. There are several other better properties which i should have opted-for

The location is good near to a mall and business district. The service was good

It was a very bad experience with the hotel, they forced me to pay additional charges on top of the booking amount. First they claimed that it's GST charges (even though I have already paid 18% GST to them), post sharing the GST paid details with them, they changed and claimed that additional charges are due to the portal raising booking for a higher amount. However they didn't share the booking details with charges & GST they received from the portal. It was a very frustrating experience as the staff was not willing to listen and understand.

Good ambience,with nice location n supporting staff

Hotel is good , but cleaning is very bad . Food is ok . Location is very good.

The stay was 10/10 in every aspect , they took care of everything

It was a wonderful stay and i love the hospitality the most and also the location, will recommend this and come to stay again.
