The Sealander House was built by the City's Mayor in 1926. This historical home is full of old world charm, huge rooms, huge windows and drenched in sunlight. It features hardwood floors, a working fireplace, pocket doors, French doors, a huge dining room, 2 modern kitchens, 2 gas grills, one on the back porch off the kitchen and one on the 2nd floor deck, inviting porches and decks, a beautiful cupola. Lots of privacy with established gardens. Across the Street from Clifford Park. An amazing home perfect for groups/celebrations. {What I am not interested in hosting drunken events with associated dangerousbehaviors like partying and vomiting on the roof, public urination and large numbers of attendees not accounted for in the reservation (12 guests listed and 60 are at the house) with associated destruction of my vintage house and property. This has only happened to me a couple of times but it's been heartbreaking. Not to mention my neighbors get upset. Most people are absolutely wonderful and are very kind and respectful to my property. I just want it to be clear to all since I have had this problem in the past. I have a Eufy security system at The Sealander House. There are 4 cameras and they are all external. They are facing the doors to the house, the front door, the back door, the 2nd floor deck door and the balcony door. They are not on all the time. They are triggered by motion. My favorite pics so far have been wildlife. When I do not have guests the house is empty. I do not live close by so I find this security helpful and reassuring. I hope you do too. The property has lots of establish trees and perennials and so so many birds. It feels like a bird sanctuary. I love this. You feel very private even though you are still in the city. It has a large front lawn and I have a fire pit on the front lawn. I have a large assortment of beach gear too for your use including a beach umbrella, beach buggy, beach chairs, beach toys including boogie boards, and beach towels. I really want my guests to have everything they need to have a great time. Have fun. A main house and two cottages ocean-front on historic Hills Beach. Walk ten steps over your patio, down to your private stairs, and you'll be on your private beach. There is a huge ground-level patio for cookouts and family fun. There are two decks, one with a farmer’s table for big dinners and the other on the second floor for relaxing. The ocean views are breathtaking.Outside: We renovated the patio in 2025 and it's really nice.... if I say so myself. More space to relax and unwind. It now has a fence along the sea wall providing safety for the little ones. Adirondack chairs dot the patio, along with two loungers and a patio table with chairs. Beach chairs are also provided, they are stored in the laundry room.Main House1st Floor: The open-concept kitchen and living room includes a dining table that seats six. A Full kitchen with plenty of storage and preparation space with an island is a vacation cook’s dream. There are three bar stools along the island for a fun hang without getting in the cook’s way. The living room includes a sectional couch, great for a cozy movie night. The 60" TV with an Apple TV (Netflix, Hulu, Max, Disney+, etc available).Off the living room, a large screened-in deck with a farm table that easily seats 8 and can fit up to 10. Watch the ocean or gaze at the stars, it’s a perfect setting for lobster dinners or something a bit fancier! Main House 2nd Floor: As you walk up the stairs there’s a deck great for reading and relaxing in the sun. Star Cottage:Renovated over the winter (2025) all pine Star cottage is very cool. Cathedral ceilings, tons of light and full-on ocean views. The cabin has a Queen-sized bed and bunk beds. A roll-away cot and extra mattress are available. Star also has a full bathroom with a shower. It sleeps a total of 4 on the beds but has an extra mattress too for one more if needed. Star is great for the kiddos or a family. Malaga Cottage:Malaga was also renovated in 2025 completely. Now with a bigger bathroom and seating area. Malaga has a kitchenette area with a small fridge, microwave and prep area. The first bedroom, in Malaga, has a Queen-sized bed and the second a full-sized bed. There is another roll away cot available in Malaga. The cottage has a bathroom with a shower. Malaga can sleep 4.The “compound” has off street parking for 4 cars or potentially 5 with a little bit of tetris. What I love about this really unique setup is that people can have their own space while still vacationing together. Whether it’s is the kids together in the Star cottage or parents with children could stay in Malaga cottage while the grandparents stay in the main house there are options. During low tide you can walk to the surrounding islands and explore! This is a lovely home for families to make magical memories. Please no parties.
