"2nd time staying here & was once again very impressed. Bright clean room, beautifully presented & overlooked the estuary so had incredible views. Breakfast was served at the Royal George just a short walk away. Fridge in room was handy for holding some cold drinks. Rain shower was easy to use but be aware if you are on the bigger side as the door to get in was quite narrow. Will be back for sure!"

"This Bed and Breakfast is the finest we’ve ever been to. Caroline and Colin really know what they are doing. Caroline is energized and welcoming with a “can do” attitude that shines. Colin cooked up the most delicious breakfast. Our room was lovely and our bed linens were crisp and smelled so luscious. We melted right in. We didn’t want to leave. Our regret was we were there only one night and didn’t get to enjoy the garden."

"Just returned from "The New Inn" Clovelly having stayed for 2 nights with my partner, my best friend and her husband. We stayed in room 6 which had a shared balcony looking out at the cobbles. (my friend and hubby) stayed in room 4 which didn't have a balcony but overlooked the sea. This room was larger in size than hours and again, they were extremely happy with theirs. Clovelly is absolutely stunning and photos just don't do it justice. There are beautiful coastal walks you can do but sadly, only being there for 2 nights, we ran out of time. The locals that live there are extremely friendly and welcoming. What made our stay at The New Inn so memorable was Jo - who works in the bar and restaurant. She had us all in stitches, what a funny, witty lady she is. You could not help but warm to her. Teresa (the owner) , her sister, Jo & Gina put their hearts & souls into running this gem of a hotel and nothing is ever too much trouble.
