Excellent modern camp with amazing owner and stuff. Cosy, clean tents on the platforms with amazing views of the desert. You can also sleep outside on the mattress with a fantastic sky view Great lounge and restaurant area with local food. Fruits and beverages are available during our stay. We also recommend the activities. Unforgettable experience

We stayed at Ali’s camp with 2 kids. We loved the experience, the luxury tent and all the activities (camel rides, dune bashing and watching camels race). The food was delicious and everyone was super friendly! This place is highly recommended!

This is the best camp in the Wahiba Sands. It is in a fantastic location higher than most other camps giving you the most spectacular view of the sunrise. Very comfortable, great host and excellent food. A highlight was the campfire after dinner under the stars.

Host Ali and his friend were wonderful hosts. We were met by them at the edge of the desert and were able to drive our own rental car behind them to the desert camp. Afterwards we enjoyed a wild dune bashing, a delicious dinner and a barefoot tour in the dark looking for scorpions - a really special experience. Our tent on stilts really had everything you could wish for to spend the night in the desert. Even a bathroom including a shower was available. The night we had spontaneously spent under the stars on our own terrace and used the mats as a base. Only from the handling of the camels in the neighborhood we were somewhat shocked. Ali had confided in us that the camels get rather little to eat, so that they obey with the tourists and have no excess energy. For this reason, the desire for a camel ride has passed us then something.

I will give 5 stars to these guys even we never stayed over night. Short story: we have booked a night. When we arrived was raining. A lot. A storm. Full of rain. Yes in the full dessert. Where I thought it is raining like 1 day to every 100 years. Was raining so bad that the camp was soaked in the water. The water goes inside also the tent and everything was soaked there: bed, floor, the tent itself. We decided to not stay overnight. The guys were amazing. They tried to fix the impossible. When we present our decision to not stay, they charged only the transportation and that was all. About the transportation : without 4WD you cannot go there. We wil be back because really the camp and the place looks amazing.

The Oman Desert Private Camp is very well located (away from the city lights for stargazing, but it doesn’t require too much time to be reached), the tents are beautiful and very clean, the meals were excellent and the staff very nice! We did dune bashing and watched the sunset on a dune. It was great fun! And we ended the day by watching the stars around a fire. We really had a wonderful time! We definitely recommend this place! A big thanks to Ali, the general manager, for making us living such great moments!

Animal abuse was allowed. First of all it's abusive to ride camels but even worse, this company allowed guests to stand on the camels backs for photos. I was appalled. Other than that, very little sleep due to partiers. Ridiculous waste of money.

Delusion The sink leaks water There was a party up to 12 pm At 5.45 am from 6.30 a big noise impossible to sleep In the desert i wish to have silence to stay near to the nature In this camp only noise
