This is definitely one of the best stay I have in my numerous visits to Japan. Kent Shiraishi-san and his team gave us ( private tour group of 8 ) the best experience ever in terms of service, breakfast & dinners! We were bowled over with the attention to the food served ; the variety and the personal service of Kent. The whole pension is such a delight to stay in with bedrooms and other special rooms (chill out room; tea room; reading room ). We were so honored to stay in such a home and also have the opportunity to view the many beautiful photos that Kent has taken. It is a must stay when you are in Biei. Unforgettable experience

Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff cleaned the wheels of our suitcases and suitcases, not only to ensure cleanliness, but also to not damage the wooden and tatami floors. The room is spartan, but, once you eat, you feel the grandeur of the dishes - well presented, fresh and connoisseur-prepared. We ordered extra hairy crabs which were also delicious. Shiraishi san prefers to go to the bar to drink his favorite drink. Around the hotel, you have panoramic views of wheat fields and rolling hills. The air is fresh and clean, with real natural aromas that invigorate the senses.
