Biei Shirogane Onsen Hotel Park Hills ★★★★
"Overall, we had a good stay. However, the room is old and had a very musty smell. Air conditioning system is also not cold enough for summer."
SHIRA-KABA Beach House ★★★
"This guesthouse was incredibly comfortable and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. From the moment we checked in, it felt so warm and homey. If I ever visit Biei again, I would definitely choose this place."
Aonobi Yuyu ★★★
"Excellent hotel in Biei. We stayed one night with two meals, and dinner was perfect. It's right by Shirogane Blue Pond, just a two-minute walk, so you can visit early in the morning before the crowds arrive. We walked from Aoiike Blue Pond to the hotel, and the 50-minute trek was quite pleasant. Didn't encounter any bears, but it gets dark early, around 4 PM. The onsen was also very good. After dinner, there was a shuttle bus to see the illuminated Aoiike Blue Pond, which was spectacular. We were lucky enough to experience heavy snowfall in mid-November!"
cress ★
"The hotel was new and clean, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful during check-in. Thank you! Since there were two of us, the bed felt a little small. There are many tourist attractions nearby, and we enjoyed visiting various places during our three-night stay. We would love to stay here again if we have the opportunity! 💖"
Waraku-Tei ★★★
"Extremely good B&B. We stayed three nights in two Western style rooms. Breakfasts were the best we experienced in Japan. Japanese style alternated with Western style. The hot breakfasts were served with extremely delicate and well designed plates, carefully prepared by the host herself. Volume was more like a brunch than breakfast. The breakfast room was more like a museum with Japanese cultural collections. It was a very pleasant experience to eat there. Rooms were very clean. The host Ms Kazuko was extremely nice. She booked dinner for us in Biei and Asahi Kawa (otherwise we would be turned away with reservations at those restaurants)."
Adagio Hokkaido ★★★
"It's a very cute secret place to stay. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. There are many photo spots with great views of the snowy mountains. It's also not crowded."
Phottage Inn Biei ★★
"Stayed one night while traveling in Furano Biei The shower and toilet were shared, but The room was clean and had a stylish interior. Thank you for providing free bread and milk."
Relais de biei Hanazono
"It was difficult to pinpoint the exact location, but it was a comfortable sleep."
Pension Megumiyuki ★★
"My favorite place on this trip was Biei. It was very quiet with few people in the off-season. The B&B was small but beautiful. The breakfast made by Yuki was delicious. The power-assisted bicycle allowed me to see the sunset and sunrise perfectly. There is no convenience store nearby, so it is recommended to replenish food near the station before coming. I will stay here again next time."

Hotel Lavenir
"Great location, 5 minutes walk to the Biei Station. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. There is a balcony for our room, not sure if it provided in other rooms though. Breakfast serves in buffet style, though the choices are simple. They taste good and really appreciate they used local food from Biei to serve guests. Staff are helpful and friendly as well. One of the highlights is there is a souvenir shop connecting to the hotel, selling local farm products and specialised souvenirs. One downside is there are not many restaurant in the town, and the opening hour is short, so there may not be many choices for guests to choose for lunch/dinner. The convenience stores and supermarket is at least 10 minutes walk from hotel. Overall the experience is Hotel Lavenir is great and satisfactory. I really like this hotel, will definitely stay in this hotel again if I visit Biei again."
Morinosizuku Rin
"A bit old and the hot springs are small, but nice."
Morinoryotei Biei
"The scenery is beautiful, and the staff's service is very attentive. They helped with luggage during both check-in and check-out, which was a huge plus. The food also tasted great! It's also very close to the popular Shirahige Waterfall."
Pension Ken&Mary
"Very happy time. Owner is very nice and kind. Place is clean."
Sugi Cedar House
"Both the cleanliness and the location of the accommodation were good. However, I sent a message to the landlord through Trip.com but never received a reply. I found out on the day of check-out that they seem to live in the same building. If any guests need to contact the landlord, I recommend knocking on the door with the name written on it to speak directly."
Auberge Ninguruforet
"The accommodation was excellent. Self-check-in was available, and they provided explanations in Thai. The house itself was fantastic! The first floor had a kitchen and living area, with an outdoor bathroom and bathtub overlooking a snow-covered garden – incredibly relaxing! The upper floor was a tatami-style bedroom with large windows offering views of the falling snow. I loved it! If I have the chance to go to Biei again, I will definitely stay here again."
STAY IN BIEI
"We enjoyed our stay. It is a well designed unit with full kitchen amenities. Cleanliness is my top priority in any accommodation booking and this unit meet my expectations."
C HOTEL Biei Shirogane Pet-friendly
"I really liked the wild, free-spirited feel. The hot spring town isn't so much close as it is inside the hot spring town (lol). It's great that you can walk to your favorite hot spring even if you've been drinking. What's more, the quality of the spring water in this area is amazing! There are plenty of delicious local ingredients and products at supermarkets and roadside stations, so in a way you can enjoy a luxurious meal to your heart's content. This time we went in winter, so after the sauna we jumped into the deep snow behind the building! It was also great that tourist attractions like the Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls are so close by. Next time, I'd like to bring my pet with me in the summer."
