"Whilst this hotel is in a good location for accessing walks, and there isn't much competition in terms of hotels in Bielsa, the sad reality is it is a 2 star (maximum) hotel. Reception kept us waiting for 10 minutes at check because the lady was on the phone. We had booked half-board ....big mistake. If you do book here, and it's good for cyclists, consider room only. The restaurant is disgusting and unhygienic due to the infestation of flies. See picture. Although our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, it had many problems. we paid for a "superior room" because on the web page it describes these rooms as newly renovated, and having "magnificas vistas". In reality they are on the first floor so have the worst views of any rooms. Our view was a magnificent view of the road. Hence it was noisy too. When I asked about this at reception, I was told by the man that one person's idea of a magnificent view was different to another person's, and the room in their view was perfect. The bathroom was dirty, the radiator was rusty, there was no air conditioning so it was terribly hot all through day and night. Would I stay here again? Definitely not. The hotel managers need to look at somewhere like hotel Silken in Ordesa, or Hotel Villa de Alquezar to see what a good value , clean and friendly 3 star actually looks like. "

"We cannot praise this gem of a hotel enough, especially with the wonderful host Nuri. The hotel is fantastically designed with bohemia designs and baroque details. It could also fit like a retro 1930 jazz building. I have never seen such a beautiful designed building. The entrance, the lounge in it's wood and black and red tones compliment everything. Our room the Robbie Williams is a sumptuous suite, beautiful bed, jacuzzi, waterfall shower and views of the mountains. Breakfast was like an artistic painting, meticulously spread out on a magnificent table. Nuri the host and manager is a credit to the place, she is amazing and so helpful and friendly, we already see her as a friend for life. And we will be back. One of the most beautiful places we have stayed in ever."

"We arrived on motorbike for one night mid September and got a warm welcome from one of the super hard working guys that seem to run the bar/restaurant (even tho I spoke no Spanish). Only a 3 bed room was available so it must get pretty booked up. Our room was downstairs at the back of the hotel so super quiet, cool & very clean with bottles of water, quality bedding & towels. Loved the 70s decor! We couldnt get a picture on the TV but this wasnt a problem for us. We got the last table in the bar to eat as they had a large party of walkers, the place had a lively atmosphere and food was great. I could believe breakfast was included in the price, a croissant, ham roll, bottle of orange juice and coffee :) It was all fantastic value and we hope to return!"

"We’ve just spent three nights at this wonderful Paradore hotels. It has recently been refurbished so the rooms are really well appointed. The restaurant is great too - and there aren’t many other places to eat nearby as it’s quite remote . What makes it really amazing is the location . You are right in the mountains. With great walks from the door our favourite was along the river bed . The herds of wild horses and cattle really add to the adventure too. We have loved loved loved this place ."
