As Hoteles Ponferrada
"Careful officials, the reservation I made for Trip.com did not appear in the hotel system, they told me that it is not usually happening and they made another reservation for us, luck is that they had many rooms available. The only point of openness is that the window of the room should have a persian because the sun comes in the morning by the sides of the garden."
Parador de Villafranca Del Bierzo
"Comfortable and pleasant facilities. Full buffet breakfast and professional service. Restaurant featuring locally sourced, high-quality products. Friendly and professional staff in all departments. Peaceful and quiet in one of the most beautiful towns in El Bierzo."
Hotel Alda Centro Ponferrada
"LocTion is fine. Sadly the hotel was not really up to a 3 star standard. Room was small, beds comfy enough but very noisy with squeaks every time you moved. Room didnt look like picture advertised. Out of window was a large extraction flume that covered any view of reat hotel. Generally the room was noisy from outside passers-by and cleaners in the am. The hotel is part of the nest door hostel so not sure if we were put in that sort of room or they all are like this. I have stayed in better hostel rooms. Laundry service not provided but you can use the hostels machines. Room was generally tired with fixtures around light switches hanging off and yellow water stains in bath tub."
Hostal Restaurante la Charola
"Excellent hotel. Very helpful staff although very little english. Would recommend"
Hotel El Castillo
"Unbeatable location, good treatment, good cleaning"
AC Hotel Ponferrada
"Location is good. Room is wide and comfortable and quiet. Very good breakfast"
Venecia Bed&Breakfast
"It is a very nice Hostel. We had a very friendly welcome. Later check in was no problem , because you get a pin-code to open the door. Outside there is lots of free parking space. In the morning you get a breakfast. This accommodation is perfect to stay for one night."
Hotel Aroi Bierzo Plaza
"The breakfast was very plentiful, and there were many supermarkets nearby."
Hotel Aroi Ponferrada
"Room though small was very clean and didn’t look too scruffy. Had the usual amenities. Generally acceptable. But the location is not ideal if you are walking the camino. Better to stay somewhere nearer the Templar’s castle. On the corner of the street where this hotel is there is a little grocery shop selling dried meats etc. Female shopkeeper was reluctant to serve my husband and ranted at me for taking a photo of the dried meats presumably because she was coincidentally in the picture. Perhaps because we are Chinese. Bear that in mind if you think of patronising."

Hotel Medulio
"Awful stay, huge bed bug infestation even after getting moved rollaway convinced it was bed bug free as you know how sneaky they are and how get everywhere. Got bitten loads and barely got any sleep. No compensation offered at all! Not a great start to my Camino invierno"
Hotel Los Templarios
"In fact, you can not wish anything better- central location, parking close, clean, comfortable. For someone who is constantly on the way, these are the most important points. In addition, the construction was in front, but so is sometimes in life. Recommended!"
Hotel Rural Valle de Ancares
"I can't say enough good things about this accommodation. You feel right at home; both Jorge and his son and wife are excellent hosts. Jorge recommends routes and provides verbal and written information. The cleanliness is impeccable, the common areas are very pleasant, the dinner is exceptional, and the breakfast is good. There's nothing wrong with this place. Highly recommended. We'll definitely return."
La Casa Grande Del Valle
Hostal Tres Campanas
"This is a lovely place with amazing views of the mountains. The rooms are impeccable. The owner Loli Leon is a very caring, cheerful, and warm person who is extremely attentive to detail—an amazing welcome after a long day on El Camino. It has one of the best breakfast on the trail. This hostel has a truly special atmosphere and makes you feel right at home."
Hotel Temple Ponferrada
