Narendra Bhawan ★★★★★
"We visited Bikaner last week of March and season’s end but surprisingly hotel was quite full. From the gate at entry till the goodbyes when we left, we were treated like royalty! There was no request that was not promptly fulfilled, nor a flaw in the product offered. In 2025 an unannounced Michelin visited and awarded the hotel a plaque proudly displayed at reception. The rooftop infinity pool ***** with a complementary steam room is a welcome destination after a day of seeing the sights of Bikaner. An ever attentive attendant Raghuveer ensures that pigeons are kept at bay and every wish is promptly serviced. Restaurants offer multi cuisine options, as well as a pizza and pasta option in the two verdant courtyards around the structure. The bar is well stocked with a range of imported and local malts, cocktails, wine options. I found the prices to be high, probably due to local licensing laws so carried our own alcoholic preference. Breakfast is truly multi cuisine: you name it and they produce it! South Indian, Western, whatever! ***** with a range of fruits, fresh juices, yogurt options, etc. Bread options include excellent sourdough, croissants and a range of Indian breads, puri, parathas. Most considerate is the offer to send ***** a doggy bag, if you want some additional fruit or juice in your room or to consume during your sightseeing. Truly I could not have wished for anything more!"
Cavalry Villa Bikaner ★★★
"The immaculately restored family home and compound of the joival Commanding Officer Colonel Mahendra (retd) of the Indian 2nd Lancers, and former Presidential Body Guard, and his good wife. The 2nd Lancers proud history dates to Gardner's Horse & the raising of the regiment in 1809. Cavalry Villa is an oasis within hectic Bikaner, 2 minutes walk to Bikaner Junction train station, 10 minutes walk to Junagarh Fort and 10 minutes walk to Kote Gate into the old city. Within the old city's labyrinth of lanes is the Rampuria district of extraordinary red sandstone havelis. An excellent breakfast with the best cheese omelette, fresh juice & fruits is served in the dining room. And a most reasonably priced delicious evening Indian meal is available and recommended over the option of eating out. Tasty well priced grilled sandwiches were also provided on request at odd hours. And not to forget Nawab, the Colonel's best boy German Shepherd with whom one does not pick a fight."
Hotel Sagar Niwas ★★★
"While sleeping in the night the bed broke down."
Hotel Shri Gourav ★★★
"Room size is really small but ok for small stay"
The Lallgarh Palace - A Heritage Hotel ★★★★
"Great place , great architecture, but hospitality is very very poor , staff treats you like you are a burden on them ... There faces say why did you even came here"
The Ganga Resort ★★★
"The stay was comfortable and property is well maintained, staff is nice and food is tasty"
The Laxmi Niwas Palace ★★★★
"Beautiful property with luxurious rooms. Spectacular ambience."
Karni Bhawan Palace - Heritageby Hrh Group of Hotels ★★★
"Once the residence of a local king, they call it a palace but really just a mansion built in the 1920s. Rooms are all huge and you can see the grandeur from that period. Very art deco in style and original fittings including bathrooms so don’t expect modern facilities. Overall a pleasant stay that captures a bygone era. Staff are very professional and efficient."
Vesta Bikaner Palace ★★★★
"A very poor experience. A very tired looking and neglected hotel. The hotel was filthy everywhere. Soiled plates were left outside rooms all day long. There was no running hot water at all. Breakfast had limited choice. The staff were unhelpful and sullen and quite rude. The only exception was the restaurant staff who made us a lovely evening meal and served us with a smile. The reception staff were particularly awful and unhelpful."

Thar Exotica Spa & Resort
"Thar Exotica Resort, Bikaner offers a peaceful experience away from the city rush. The property is beautifully designed with traditional Rajasthani architecture. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable with all basic amenities. The staff is courteous, helpful, and always ready to assist, which makes the stay more pleasant. The hospitality truly reflects the warmth of Rajasthan. The food served is delicious, especially the traditional Rajasthani dishes. The ambiance during the evening, creates a memorable experience. Overall, Thar Exotica Resort is a great choice for families, couples, and tourists who want to enjoy a calm desert stay with good service and traditional vibes."
Hotel Bhairon Vilas
"We arrived via a chaotic gateway in Bikaner. Half the place was being renovated as it is end of the season and they clearly aren't doing any cleaning. The reception area was so dark and we got bitten within a couple of mins. The staff were miserable and not very welcoming. We were shown to a large spacious and very dark room it would have been nice albeit for the hundreds of mosquitos and the lack of cleaning. The bedding was an old blanket with a stained sheet on top not underneath. There was an external old bathroom door and loads of mosquitos came from beneath it. They offered 2 small plug ins and a coil but we could see so many we knew it wasn't possible to stay there without being bitten. I can't review the rest of the place as we left after an hour."
Bhanwar Niwas
"I stayed at Bhanwar Niwas Heritage Hotel for three nights and had a wonderful experience. Located inside the old city of Bikaner, the property offers an authentic heritage atmosphere with very spacious and well-maintained rooms. The real highlight of the stay was the homely, freshly cooked food simple, tasty, and full of local flavors. A special mention to Mr. Sampath, who served the meals with such warmth and care; his service truly made the stay fantastic and memorable. The staff overall is extremely warm, courteous, and hospitable, making you feel completely at home. Highly recommended for travelers looking for heritage, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality in Bikaner."
Hotel Chandra Raj Mahal
"We were travelling across Rajasthan and had no reservations in Bikaner. We were guided by a local auto driver to this gem. We stayed for a night here. A great experience. Beautiful place, well maintained. Location is perfect, away from the crowd congested areas. The entire staff from reception to housekeeping were so welcoming and helpful. Good pricing as we took a breakfast inclusive package. The room was not very big but was just right for our needs. They had all amenities like heaters, kettle and tea coffee available in the room. The cable connection worked! The room and bath were spotless clean. Requests for additional pillows were fulfilled at the bat of an eyelid. Beds were very comfortable. No balcony but lovely sitting areas outside our room. We did not have dinner. The breakfast was a buffet but the staff served us on our table. There were a mix of Indian and continental. In all a great place to stay if you do not want a hole in your pocket while enjoying. Looking forward to staying there again."
Ardas Villa Bikaner - Heritage Luxury Boutique Stay, with Free Pick up and Drop
"We had fantastic experience at Ardas Villa Bikaner. The property is beautiful, peaceful away from city hustle bustle. Very neat and clean room offering great comfort. Homely stay make us feel like home away from home. The staff and hosts were very courteous and humble. Enjoyed sumptuous dinner at beautifully crafted terrace at night. The ambiance was great which made our stay a memorable one. Will definitely like to stay again."
