Bilbao Abando Hotels

Good location, easy to get everywhere of interest just by walking. Staff were lovely, warm, friendly and helpful. Good sized room and bathroom, but there was a massive pillar right in the middle of the room which was quite awkward. Had the room at the start of the corridor near the lifts so it was a bit noisy at times. No tea or coffee facilities in room, which feels like a bit of a basic. Went out for breakfast rather than use the hotel facilities as there's plenty of options about. Only there for 2 nights so didn't seem worth kicking up a fuss about any stuff. OK for overnight but not a long stay from what I saw.

The hotel's right next to the train station, which is super convenient. They offer free water and fruit in the lobby. The mood lighting in the hallways is really cool, and it's very clean. Best part is, it's not expensive. Definitely a good pick!

It's a nice hotel. Everything you need is there. Good city part around. But the devil was hidden in the details. 1) Upon checking in, I discovered hair from a trimmed beard in the shampoo holder on the sink (while I was yelling and running around in circles my partner had just rinsed it off). 2) Centuries of dust on the shelf and TV. 3) The clock on March 01, 2024 is still set one hour ahead. at 8:40pm I get dressed and run out to a meeting by 9pm. which as it later turns out will be in 1.20 minutes. Answer: the technician is no longer at the hotel today, we will let him know. March 04, 2024, at the time of our departure, the clock is still showing the wrong time. And I thought: ”ok we can live with that”. BUT 3) The room is hot, it's really hot. We Germans and so used to sleep at +17 degrees at night (save money energy and its healthy))). Also my the partner does not tolerate the heat at all (Also if you have age changes or something else... It could be horror). The answer from the hotel: ”It's winter, the air conditioner only works for heating”. This we find out after we have been ”cooling” for a day and a half (but the hotel description has 138 rooms with air conditioning!?). 4) We get a fan to cool down. 5) I discover that the sheets are 50 percent and the pillows are 52 percent synthetic. ((at this point, I realize why they are so sweaty and sweltering to sleep in. I know its subjective). This hotel recived 3 out of 5 in my rating. P.S.: The glasses were not washed perfectly (it's just gazpacho, not oil paint and black tea) The toilet paper holder is positioned so that you hit it with your butt every time you sit down on the toilet, and when you sit down it rests on your chest

Hotel was minutes away from Guggenheim Museum Bilbao which was our planned at Bilbao. There is hotel parking with a fee available during booking. The breakfast was good. The hotel and resturant staff were friendly and kind. My room was modern and clean, it comes with a streets view. There is room available with the museum view too.

The hotel is located approximately 17 minutes walk from the river area and the Guggenheim. In the portal next door there is a GOiko and a burgerking, there are also bars, bakeries and cafes The staff is very friendly, they have a locker where you can leave your luggage if you need to. In my case I reserved parking, since parking in the surroundings is complicated and it is a green/blue/red zone, they allowed us to leave the car longer than we had booked at no additional cost... so great! Good value for money The room on the fifth floor, attic style, the window could not be opened completely for security reasons, comfortable bed, only one pillow per person (that is the only drawback I can say) They provide a reusable bottle to be able to refill with cold/hot filtered water that they have on each of the floors, providing free water to all guests Spacious bathroom with shower Excellent cleaning

What a great hotel! Across the board we were blown away by how perfect this hotel made our stay. The staff - ALWAYS helpful and fun and professional. The room - Beautiful, large double bed for us was more than adequate and a large room. Bathroom - Great size and LARGE tub and shower with TONS of water pressure. Location - Bilbao is one of the most walkable cities, but the hotel is right at the edge of the river so 10 min to Guggenheim and 5 min to the old town. Breakfast - We had breakfast a couple times and the beans and eggs were my staple. The eggs were off the first visit, but the second visit they were much better. Bacon and pastries were tasty and the cream cheese with herbs was a treat. We will be back for sure. You won't be disappointed by staying here.

Location location location! After a long train ride, you probably do not want to travel further to your lodgings. LaTroupe is just across the street from the train station and although beside a busy traffic junction, it’s very quiet.  Also, the team comes up with various programmes in the evening, between 6-8pm. After that, you can head out for dinner as most restaurants open from after 7 or 8pm. Tabernas in touristy spots are open from the morning thru till late though.

Квартира очень хорошая. Но сложно найти если на машине. В день звезда прислали информацию об онлайн чекинн только в 15.30. Пришлось заполнять все на месте. Парковочное место не было доступно и находится в 5ти минутах.

It's just across the street from San Mames Stadium, so it's the first choice for watching football. The front desk staff are also very welcoming. Although the room is not big, it is clean and has good lighting. There are several restaurants downstairs, which is very convenient for eating. There is a large grocery store on the next street, which is very convenient for shopping. In the early morning, I went to the airport front desk to help call a taxi. Good experience.

We had a very comfortable stay in Hotel Carlton. It’s my third time to stay there. The location is fantastic. The whole experience is special. The rooms are very spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room are very much appreciated. The little bar is nice for a nightcap after a night out. I’ll certainly stay again
