Motel 6 Billings, MT - South

We had to go out and buy our own cleaning supplies to make sure the room got clean. This was the second room we were put in. The first room was dirty and didn't have bedding or towels. The night employee at the desk was wonderful, but there was only so much she could do with no house keepers.

I had a reservation for two nights. When I arrived it was very sketchy and felt unsafe. My room reeked of urine. The floors were split and dirty. The curtains were missing half of the hooks and did not close all the way, allowing people outside to see both beds inside. The microwave was dirty and missing the turntable. The ice machine was broken. The air conditioner barely worked. When I turned back the covers to go to bed, there was a large spot of urine on the top and bottom sheets, and the mattress and sheets were WET with urine. I called the front desk and was told that the manager was gone for the day and there was no access to the laundry room for linens. He took a blanket out of an empty room and brought it to me, saying that was all he could do for me. When the office opened in the morning I went in, explained what had happened, cancelled my reservation for the second night, and asked for a refund. I was told that I should have let the front desk know the night before (I did) and that I would not be refunded for the night. I explained that my daughter and I had to sleep on the floor with my own bedding from the car and I want my money back. He said that since I was present all night that he would not refund my money. This is the worst motel I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Had to wait in the lobby for more than 30 minutes since there was no one at the front desk to check in, a lady finally arrived to the desk who was clearly under the influence of something. Told her I had a reservation, she was not able to comprehend what I was telling her, she was fumbling and pecking on the computer screen to find my reservation. She asked me for my credit card to charge a security deposit, after the card was swiped I asked to make sure this was for a refundable security deposit. She started to mumble and I had to ask her several times to get an answer, she said it was for the room and is not refundable. I asked her to cancel the transaction since I already have a reservation but she said there are no refunds and was going on a tangent about random stuff. I really did not want to deal with a person who was clearly not in the right state of mind after driving for 9 hours straight and just wanted to go to bed. So I had to forgo my reservation and the mistaken charge and go to a different hotel.

Do NOT even attempt to stay here. On 7-22-24 my wife and I booked a room on-line while driving through Idaho. At approximately 9:30 p.m., six hours after booking the room, we get a call from the male at the front desk telling us that we no-longer have a room, as he over-sold the motel. Now we have already driven about 925 miles are are dying for a room. He can't or won't help us, even though he made the mistake. His advice was to keep driving and there may be a room at a Motel 6 another couple hundred miles down the road. These people are sleezebags and should NOT be running a motel anywhere in the United States. Go back to India or wherever they came from.

Hmmm… Where to start. Manager assigned me to a room. It’s doubtful that staff had even cleaned it since previous customer. The bathroom was not cleaned. There were no towels or soap at all in the room. I went down and spoke with a manager and he told me he would send housekeeping to bring towels. That never happened. Furthermore, there were light fixtures/Fans that did not have covers on them and there was junk strewn around the hallways. Also there were windows to the other rooms that has what appeared to be bullet holes in them. Needless to say, no More More Motel 6 for me.
