My mum and I visited Horsham over the weekend, and, for a change, we decided to try out the Billingshurst branch of Travelodge. What a good idea that was! For a start, there's a car park on site. That was a big plus for us - especially if you take into account the fact that we arrived during a spell of rain. To be able to get my mum into the dry warm reception, and grab our bags at my leisure, was great! The entire building is set on one floor, which is also ideal for us; Mum has limited ability, and uses a walking aid. However, shuffling to her room was a breeze! The accessible room was spacious, and clean (thank you, house keeping!), with nice, low twin beds, and a low bath that even my mum could easily get into. Lastly, we wanted to say a big, 'thank you' to Ben on reception. Whilst I was busy fetching our belongings, he checked us in, and did a great job of explaining the key system, and the whereabouts of our room to Mum. After such a warm welcome, we felt instantly at home, and would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone - in particular anyone who, like my mum, has limited mobility.
