⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent family resort with exceptional service
We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort Bintan Lagoi Beach and would highly recommend it to families.
A special mention to Desta, who assisted us during check-in and continued to follow up throughout our stay to make sure everything was well taken care of. Her attentiveness and genuine care really stood out. She even sent us a lovely personal message the night before our checkout — such a thoughtful touch!
Another standout was the Night Manager, I believe his name was Sam. When we experienced a plumbing issue in our block on our second night, he promptly arranged an upgrade for us to pool-facing ground-floor rooms with direct pool access from the balcony. The new rooms were also conveniently located right next to the kids' playground. Excellent service and problem-solving.
The resort itself is fantastic for families, with indoor and outdoor playgrounds, kids' water playground, two large family-friendly pools, kids' activities such as cookie/pizza making and tote bag design, games room, table tennis and more. There is plenty to keep children entertained without leaving the resort.
Breakfast had an excellent spread with different selections each day. The in-resort spa was also excellent and reasonably priced. The resort provides transfers to the ferry terminal and a free hourly shuttle to Plaza Lagoi.
Rooms are spacious, although a bathtub would have been a nice addition given the generous bathroom space. The resort is quite large and can be slightly confusing initially, but we got used to it quickly.
Overall, excellent location, great facilities, spacious rooms and exceptional service. Desta and Sam really made our stay special. Highly recommended for families and friends, and we would definitely return!
