It is what it is, the room was clean, the staff friendly and located close to the airport. The hotel is looking its age and the communal areas are a bit tired, but as I say “it is what it is”. It’s a perfect base if you’ve an early flight from Birmingham airport. The receptionist was friendly enough, the staff in the restaurant were also attentive - even though there was a fight. But for the price it’s all acceptable and understandable. Clean bathroom, clean room, clean bed. Fine

An old place, I've been to other Travelodge hotels before but this one was really bad. The room was too small and you had to walk a long way to get to your room.

Hotel is a little bit dated but very handy Location for anyone attending the NEC. Bus brings you right to the door. It seems to be co-joined to a restaurant and although the Hotel doesn't do breakfast, you can get breakfast there for a very reasonable price.

Large car park, but needed to pay £10/24hrs. Convenient to Manchester Aitport. There is no air conditioning at room and the room was quite hot under the heat wave. Breakfast was nice.

The room was very small, just like a motel. Colleagues said that the sound of cars could be heard in the room, and the service was average. Wi-Fi requires payment and there is no hair dryer. But it's the cheaper one nearby.

Awful. Not upgraded as the website said. Small, pokey bedroom. No air con, no blinds on windows that look straight onto carpark, had to close curtains making it very hot & stuffy. No privacy. Very noisy with windows open. Old toilet and shower, old wardrobe, table & one chair. Terrible. Paid for WiFi, but only works on two devices. WHAT?!?! Also VERY slow. Quite frankly the worst decision we have made for somewhere to stay.

STAFF TREAT YOU LIKE CRIMINALS (even tho you had checked in 5 hours ago) lying saying you book the wrong hotel (it wasn’t) knocking your door 6 times up until 10:30 at night - rooms are smelly and dirty and when there is a problem there is a ‘be right back sign’ on front desk. STAY AWAY

The room was great cleanliness great staff were very helpful and wanted to meet all my needs overall a great stay in a great location and not overly priced for the quality of hotel and staff. I had been having a tough week and they made my mood raise up instead of go down

This hotel is perfect in every way The rooms here are amazing value and always clean, the pub being attached is great for simple food but there is plenty to choose from round and about the receptionist Beth is an absolute saint with nothing being to much trouble excellent hotel five stars from me

We Have been Staying in Sheldon to visit family and we are very impressed with the service given here! Beth on reception is a delight and couldn’t go further out of her way to assist Always happy to have a chat and always smiling. The beds are comfy and not much outside noise on car park facing room

This is first time I stayed at travelodge Sheldon and I loved it. The food next door was great, rooms were clean and comfy and big shout out to Beth on reception for her amazing customer service and friendly manner. Will definitely be returning again soon!!
