Everything about this dormitory feels like a DIY project, handmade. It's like staying in the simplest IKEA showroom. The entrance is a bit hard to find, but the host was very responsive to messages, which made them trustworthy. There were other Japanese guests, and one of the staff members was also Japanese (though it didn't seem like they were always there).

For the price, the room was surprisingly clean. The owner was incredibly helpful, letting me use the washing machine. It also seemed like they offered motorbike rentals.

The hostel is still undergoing renovation, with unpainted walls and shabby floors. There are no air conditioners in the rooms, only fans, so it was hot. Overall, it won't be bad once the renovation is complete. The administrator is very pleasant and responsive. The linens are clean. There's an equipped kitchen and laundry facilities.

The room was clean and the hotel's security was excellent, so I felt safe during my stay. The front desk staff were also very kind and their service was excellent. On the other hand, the guest room doors felt rather flimsy, so noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms were easily audible. On the night I stayed, there was an argument between guests late at night, and I was woken up by the noise. Also, a nearby dog would sometimes bark, so if you value a quiet environment, earplugs would be reassuring. The shower water temperature was unstable depending on the time of use, and perhaps due to the water storage capacity, it sometimes felt lukewarm. Towels are provided, but amenities such as shampoo and body soap are not, and there is no hairdryer. A washing machine is available, but there is no dryer. Detergent can be purchased at a nearby store. This was convenient for long stays and doing laundry while traveling.
