Beautiful hotel, corresponds to its stars. Everything is very clean, the hotel is accomplished in a pleasant design according to the name . Hotel staff is very polite, warning and friendly . Special thanks to the hotel administration . When leaving rushing , we forgot a wallet with cash - which was immediately made known , and already at home on the other day we got our missing . Thank you , remember and hope to visit the capital of Kyrgyzstan again with such warm and responsive people .

Probably the best hotel in Bishkek. It is located in the city center and has convenient transportation. There is a tree-lined road outside the hotel with a nice view. The hotel has a nice heated swimming pool and sauna. The bed is big, the quality of bedding and toiletries are good!

My friend had lost her luggage and needed some help to contact the airport / airlines. The receptionists were extremely helpful and active in reaching out to all channels available. Even after we checked out, they helped us to follow up. Was a great stay! 10/10 would recommend!

I usually stay on all trips. Although as I stop.... in fact I live on 7-14 days. Everything as always. The differences of the hotel in Bishkek is not the attention of the staff to cleaning rooms. The windows from the street in the hotel are frankly dirty. Some day there were problems with hot water. But there is YouTube on TV and good Wi-Fi. On top of the hotel is a good restaurant, but with nuances of service. All staff speak Russian and quite English. Guests, pleasant people. I have never seen any conflict situation. With breakfast, of course, there was no understanding why the fresh was diluted with packaged juice... But overall it is not bad. In any case, moving to another hotel, there was no desire.

The hotel was very nice and easy to get around. Nice gym, I didn't try the sauna. Room decor was nice, bed was comfortable, the chairs were out dated, recovered and uncomfortable. There were a few problems. The toilet seat was poorly attached, and I could not cool off the room with the AC system, I had to open the window, and this was not an issue until I found I was above the smoking area. The staff and service were amazing, anything I needed, or asked for, they delivered. The breakfast in the mornings were very good, lots of food, almost too much, as they pretty much brought me everything on the menu. WiFi was good, always available and good speeds. I do not speak Kyrgyz or Russian, but they always spoke to me in English, which was very helpful as my translator was not staying at the hotel. Upon check out, they sent me off with a boxed lunch for my trip to the airport, which I really appreciated.

The hotel is very new. It is a very cost-effective 5-star hotel in Bishkek. There is Western food on the first floor and Korean food on the 15th floor. The boss is very enthusiastic about Chinese people. If you need anything, the boss will help. The hotel's hardware facilities are one of the best in Bishkek.

I am very grateful to Ctrip's online customer service for patiently, politely and quickly solving all the problems we encountered in foreign hotels. The hotel is also very friendly and welcoming, and also upgraded the room type for free, so that we can relax and rest at the hotel after intensive work. The breakfast is also very rich, the environment is comfortable and quiet, the front desk and customer service are very polite, special thanks to Mark at the front desk, he has studied Chinese in China and helped us a lot, he will stay here again next time

From walking into reception without a booking on a Saturday morning in Aug-2022, I found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the centre of the city in an area that affords access to a local green areas and wide roads which are pleasant for a safe evening walk. The rooms are comfortable, and the restaurant food is good. I was very pleased to be served food in my room one evening by Dilshat, who is one of the many friendly and efficient restaurant staff. I shall be very pleased to stay at the Ambassador hotel again.

I last wrote about this hotel in June 2019, so I felt it was time for an update. Looking through recent TripAdvisor reviews, I see much of my work has been done for me. Just last month, Hashmat Singh did an excellent job of capturing many of the details I would otherwise have included. I will try to supplement his and the many other glowing reviews, rather than repeat them. The good news is that not much has changed over the years since my last (pre-Covid) visit. Solutel continues to provide excellent accommodations and top-notch service at very competitive prices. The hotel is located in a cul-de-sac, so you can sleep with the windows open to the fresh mountain air without worrying about late-night sirens or early morning traffic noise. Blackout curtains keep the early morning sun at bay until it is invited. The air conditioning is whisper quiet, not one of those noisy window units. The location allows easy walking access to much of the downtown area. But Bishkek has grown considerably over the years, and new restaurant offerings are continually popping up, some of the more interesting ones being found in the suburbs. Taxis can be ordered at the front desk, and are inexpensive by Western standards. A recent trip to a restaurant took about 25 minutes by taxi (due to traffic issues) and the fare was 200 som ($2.50). As others have said, rooms are well-appointed with luxuries such as “King” beds that are made of two standard mattresses, heated bathroom floors, bidets (which will spoil Americans once they get used to the feeling of being fresh and clean), reading lamps bedside, in-room safes, free in-room Wi-Fi, blackout curtains and modern windows that open, HDTVs, etc. On the downside, TV content at the moment is mainly Russian content in the Russian language. In anticipation of this, I brought my Roku streaming device, which works well when plugged into the same HDMI socket as the hotel uses for TV. However, all hotel outlets are 220 volt. To my surprise the Roku box is 115 volt, so I had to locally buy an 80-watt converter and an adapter to use it ($20 for all). The included breakfasts are great, as they can accommodate many individual tastes and time-zones. For those that arrived in the wee hours of the morning, they will be looking for dinner fare more so than breakfast fare. For those of us that have multi-week stays, we can gradually transition from dinner to breakfast fare each morning. The breakfast area is modern and bright, and there’s an outdoor patio for those that prefer alfresco meals aside garden views with snow capped mountain glimpses. Staff members are all eager to provide genuine Kyrgyz hospitality. Kudos to management for providing a pleasant team-oriented working environment and being supportive during the difficult Covid times.
