The hotel was quiet, and the staff were all very friendly, which was very appreciated. They all tried to quickly resolve any small issues in the room. They had a variety of wines and were very helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable enough for a family of three. The breakfast menu was not very varied, but it was clean. Spent a week there. What a wonderful place! A small hotel, recently and permanently renovated. They are serving delicious breakfast with regional Piemont specialties. Very much client-oriented: You can tell that thay are going "the extra mile" to make the stay for their guests pleasant and memorable. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. When we were facing a medical issue with a tooth, Alessandro and his wife (both from the hotel team) arranged immediatly a visit with their family dentist and we were able to continue our vacation. Incredible. The rooms are nicely furnished and everything very well kept. The quiet hotel is embedded in the middle of the town of Bistagno with its authentic Italian town center. No tourists. A couple of very small local alimetari (food shops), bakeries as well as two ice-cream places just around the corner. This all gives you the impression of living the "Italian" way. We strongly recommend visiting Acqui Terme, the nearest town - also totally authentic and not touristy at all. We expected nothing and were absolutely positively surprised.

I decided to stay at the Monteverde Hotel in Bistagno during a relaxing week-end. The hotel is located in a tiny and pretty village near Alessandria, a strategic position if you want to visit the Monferrato and the Langhe famous wine areas. Finally we decided to have the dinner at the restaurant which was a tremendously positive surprise. The hotel is clearly renovated and in great and modern shape, the superior room was more than adequante for a couple, very comfortable and in my style looking but my main comment is about the restaurant which showed a tailored menu shaped according to the Pindemonte tradition. Exciting starters ("foamy" egg with trufle as in the picture) and pasta and main courses all made of high quality ingredients and clever receipts. Don't forget the cheese as dessert, they will offer you a wide variety of typical sheep and goat cheeses (and not only) from the trolley. And I need to mention the long and comprehnsive list of wines which are experctly and accurately selected according to your taste and menu. Thank you Sabina and to her staff!

This was our second time staying here in quick succession ( end of April and then May ). The hotel is in a very useful location and with a friendly welcome. The little village has another very good restaurant, as well as the excellent restaurant in the hotel, as well as a couple of bars and pizerria. Our room was excellent, very comfortable, clean and a good size with a lovely terrace. The staff at the hotel ( a lot of which are family ) are all so friendly and helpful - and there is also parking outside the hotel. They also have a small wine shop within the hotel where the owner will help you to choose some of the great local wines. Thoroughly recommended

Sehr schönes Hotel, gut eingerichtet und sauber, ruhig gelegen. Mit reichhaltigem Frühstücksbuffet und angeliedertem Restaurant, das sich lohnt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, sie können sich sehr gut auch in Englisch verständigen

Das Hotel Monteverde ist eine sehr schöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Unterkunft im Piemont. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von hier aus gut zu erreichen. Der Gastgeber gab uns viele Ausflugstipps! Das Frühstückbuffet war sehr vielfältig. Frisch zubereitete Eierspeisen wurden ebenfalls serviert. Parkplätze sind kostenlos vor dem Hotel vorhanden.
