Fantastic property
My family enjoyed our stay at Blackhammer Hus! The property itself is beautiful and the owners have really done a great job with the renovations - it’s a nice mix of modern and antique. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms are up to date and modern. Nice common areas and beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a beautiful quiet place to stay. If I’m ever in the area again I would stay here in a heartbeat!

Amazing Stay!
This house is the perfect getaway! It had everything we needed and more. Very clean! Loved sitting on the porch watching the fireflies each night.

October in Shady Grove
Amber and Steve were the perfect VRBO hosts; the house was great with tons of room, wonderful kitchen and living spaces, modern bathrooms and in the middle of the lovely bluffs of SE Minnesota. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Weekend With Friends
We had a great weekend at this house. The house is clean and furnished with everything we need. We enjoyed the outdoors as well. The entire property is beautiful. Amber is a great host. We will be back!

Excellent!
Highly recommend!!! This was our second time staying here - we absolutely adore this property! Truly a little piece of heaven in SE Minnesota!
Our children love the freedom to run in the large yard + play on the swing set, while the adults relax on the swing or patio.
The house is a farm house that has been brought back to life. It’s clean, has modern appliances, and has comfortable furniture! Amber and Steve are great hosts and communication is excellent!!
We will definitely be back another year!
