Such a beautiful village pub serving excellent food and great beers that also has rooms that are not only comfortable but homely. A very pleasant stay was had recently and will be again. Parking is a tad limited but that is purely due to its location. Oh and it can fill very quickly with locals.

Half Moon situated in beautiful Deon village of sheepwash. A Really lovely place to stay. Excellent room, great food and friendly and helpful staff . Well worth a visit for a meal or short stay. Ps try their Pie of the day we had the steak and kidney it was a proper pie. .

Our party of 6 ate here every evening for our writers’ weekend retreat. The pub was busy but slotted us in without trouble. Food was excellent, as was the wine, and they accommodated one of our group who had complex dietary needs with ease and understanding. They even squeezed us in on the Sunday night quiz evening which was fabulous fun. Service was superb. Everyone was incredibly friendly and there was a roaring fire. We all fell in love with the place. Every village needs a pub like the Half Moon Inn. I’m definitely planning a return to stay with my husband, as he was very jealous when I reported back! Thank you SO much Kim and Haydn.

Had a meal here on a Saturday evening ,makes a change to find a pub really busy at 1830. Food was good and so was the service which was friendly and helpful. Always good when a pub has Tribute on draught, other draught drinks were available at the bar.

Clean and comfy room which was warm and fitted perfectly with the properties age and decor The food was exceptional at breakfast but by far the stand out for me was the staff and management who were affable, knowledgeable and kind I will definitely be back again

Another lovely stay at the Half moon inn. We have visited several times , it was as enjoyable as ever .The rooms are very comfortable and the welcome is always great . The owners and their staff are friendly and efficient. The food is always good too . I think this was our fifth or sixth stay and we will certainly return . It’s great to see an inn thriving in these difficult economic times for the hospitality industry, I’m sure that their success is due to their hard work and their continual updating of their rooms and facilities. Thanks again for a relaxing stay 😊

Lovely weekend staying in sheepwash ,the half moon inn is a lovely place to stay ,rooms are comfortable and clean ,staff are friendly and helpful,food is good (we purchased extra lamb pies to bring home with us from the lovely little shop on site because they were so good )owners are lovely and welcoming.Would recommend a stay .

Pleasant rooms, good food and friendly staff. Really enjoyed my stay. We used this an abase to visit RHS Rosemore which is beautiful. We ate in the inn both nights and had good food. I particularly liked that they offer fresh milk to have in you tea in the room in a little bucket with ice.
