The hotel check in is actually at next building (Hotel Geysir), so is inconvenient. Then the breakfast also at next building. While this building like abandon building…the kettle is outside share with everyone, inconvenient when want to drink water

The hotel has complete facilities and is very conveniently located near the geyser. The food in the restaurant is very delicious and the waiters are very polite. 

The night before, we received a message from the hotel that they had upgraded us to the main hotel. The hotel is very new and the room is very big. We also saw the northern lights in the room. We were really lucky. The toilet was also very big and the stay was very comfortable. The dinner at the hotel was also very delicious and they gave us a discount. It was a very lucky day.

The light pollution is low, which is convenient for taking photos of the aurora. You need to go to the main building of the hotel next door to check in. The front desk is quite enthusiastic. Breakfast is also served in the main building, which is relatively rich in Iceland. The public area in the main building is very high-end. Some of the room pictures in the reviews on Ctrip are actually from the main building hotel, but it is impossible to upgrade you to the main building during the peak season. The room area is small, no toilet paper is provided, and the water flow for washing hands and taking a bath is small. Others are normal for Icelandic hotels.

A good experience. The front desk lady was warm and friendly. If conditions permit, we will upgrade to the "main hall" next door. Across the road is the gap spring. Western breakfast includes bread, fried eggs, meat slices, cheese, coffee, yogurt, desserts, fruits, etc. The dishes in the main hall restaurant are average and not cost-effective (the desserts for the three-course meal are good).

For a hotel with a history, it has gradually become the best hotel in the area near Greysir after two generations of efforts. Not to mention that the hotel facilities are of high quality, the room space and materials are of high quality. For me, a person who pays attention to details, it is more than 90% satisfied. And the service is very friendly! The room bath uses Soley, a well-known herbal skin care brand native to Iceland. The overall feeling is friendly, real, and the texture is low-key luxury! By the way, the geothermal fountain⛲️ is right across the road from the hotel. Just walk over!
