We've made it to the outlets in Pigeon Forge within 30 minutes; The Dragon/129 for a day of mountain driving within 20; Abrams Trail via Top of the World to hike within 20 (vs the Cades Cove Loop trail to Abrams Falls), or TYS airport in 20. Rent a pontoon boat in advance at Sequoyah Marina in Vonore (30 minutes) and head up-river towards Chilhowee Dam for a day of swimming, fishing (get your permits), or visit the location of the Cherokee Indian Village where Tennessee got its name. Spend days exploring GSMNP via car or hiking trails. Don't forget to pick up your GSMNP Parking Pass effective 2023 prior to entering the park.Plan to spend a day tubing the Little River in Townsend.
