Overall, an excellent experience. The hotel accommodated us (a larger group) last-minute, meeting each and every requirement...communication upfront was excellent. The rooms were amazing! I had a double, which was more like an apartment. Sofa in a separate little room, terrace, huge windows, big bed, lots of space, so quiet. The hotel is set in really nice grounds, there is plenty of entertainment for the kids - the rabbits were a delight! Food was also excellent. I am a road cyclist in racing season (need to watch my weight...), and they accommodated all my wishes (poached the fish instead of frying, leaving out sauces etc.). All the staff were always friendly and helpful, starting from reception. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors from a place of creature comforts at their best.

Probably we returned for the 15th time in VALAVIER. As ever it was a 5* stay. Definitely worth the trip from the Netherlands. Breakfast, Lunch and Diner are every day a feast! Absolutely a big plus is the location opposite to the skilft; only a 15 meter walk!

They are cutting on food.For dinner we got served very small portions of meat or fish 1/4 of a small fish which I would say did not have even 100gr.For side dish once we got the same vegetable that was served for brunch.For brunch they remove and close very early.On breakfast there was no reffiling,only one spoon for soft cheese so you cant take much.Leftover carrot or mushroom where in the omlete.The pool is a bit cold,kids are playing ball,the garden and animals are beautiful.

We stayed in ****S Valavier in february 2023. The reception-staff is very adequate. We asked for some extra cloth-hangers which were brought in 5 minutes, although it was a busy check-inn day. Compliments. The kitchen has a new chef, Ferry Brussel, and together with his staff he makes splendid breakfast, lunch and diners. Fine Dining. Restaurant Staff is very smooth, very friendly and knows exactly what they are serving. And if you want something else: no problem! Tobias Krickl is the well experienced maitre-sommelier. We stayed in a 'tallblick-loft bit weitblick' which perfectly hosts four guests. The intro-red sauna is a very nice plus. HouseKeeping took every day care of our room; when we came back from skiing the room was allways very well taken care off. Finally Eli und Kathi: there is no hotel which such a friendly and care-taking couple. Easy to make contact with: the night at the garden with gluhwein and raclette is a highlight. Sauna and outdoor swimming-pool are a big plus. We stayed for the 15th time in ****S Valavier, we call it our 'second home'. Therefor an absolute MUST GO.
