Dingy. Dirty. There’s so many other hotels in Mankato that are way better. Carpets are gross. Bathrooms have mold. Hair on sheets. Furniture ripped. Hot tub empty and not working. Not that I would have used it after seeing the room….See photos.

The bathroom sink was plugged, the one outlet didn't work at all to plug in devices, the other available outlet had loose connection that the plug kept trying to fall out. No acknowledgement of being an IHG Platinum Elite member. Remodel it!

No ice on any floor, pathetic breakfast from a paper bag, awful towels, room not made up unless you ask, elevator and hot tub out of service. Staff said it will all be better after the "update". Until then stay away.

I booked this hotel through priceline and it said it was 3 stars, but it wasn't. We got a good price and wouldn't be spending much time in the room, so it was fine for my girls weekend with a friend. The room was clean and comfortable, but the ice machine was broken, the hot tub was broken and the day we left, one of the elevators was broken. It has nice covered parking and was close to downtown and old town, which is another reason we picked it. You could tell it was a fancy place at one time, but they must not have enough business to bring its standards back up to that.

This place was not good, the tub had mold around the edges and the toilet ran all night long. The water pressure in the shower was great, except the tub didn’t drain. They are supposed to have breakfast, but there was a sign at the front desk that they didn’t as the kitchen was closed. The bedding was clean and the fridge worked, but the coffee pot looked like it was picked up from a thrift store 15 years ago. The place was essentially a ghost town, including at the front desk. I don’t recommend staying here.

Dead Mouse found in glue trap by refrigerator. Room Keys thrown at me (landed five feet behind me on floor) by man at the desk because he couldn't correct a simple rooming list error for three rooms. No restaurant or breakfast on site. No room service. Horrible don't stay here.

booked this property for a weekend get away with my boyfriend due to the proximity to the concert venue came to check in and they didn’t even ask my name and informed me that they are oversold and they have walked me to a different hotel a short 10-15 minutes away. They also informed me that the reservation was taken care of and I wouldn’t have to pay. Get to the Quality Inn(the property that they had walked me to) on the other side of town and they try to have me pay for the reservation. They (mike at Quality Inn) then had me call the City center Hotel with my phone and he will talk to them to see why they told me that I wouldn’t have to pay when they only made the reservations to hold the room and not payment…Never have I ever had to pay for being walked by a property or when i have had to walk a guest(usually in my experience you refund the guest, pay for their room in a comparable property as well as give the guest something for the inconvenience) . When I asked to speak to a manager or a supervisor at the City Center I was told that they are all out of office until Monday…not sure that I have heard of a hotel not having someone who is acting as MOD on a weekend let alone a weekend that is supposedly sold out. To say that I am disappointed and angry is the understatement of the year. You can bet I will be reaching out to the management for both properties on Monday.
