The warm welcome was the best ever, offering ‘feel at home and help yourself’ to a coffee, tea, snacks and a comfy chair in a communal lounge area. Room was well appointed and modern. There’s a lift and car park nearby. We slept well in this quiet location. The other best aspect of this hotel is their superb restaurant right opposite the hotel. Dinner was 10 out of 10 and I doubt I’ve had a better meal. The white asparagus was just delicious as was the whole meal. My fish dish was very generous too. I was too busy admiring the food and eating it to photograph it. It’s served on a tiered tray so you don’t crowd your plate, plus you can share if you so choose.

The hotel is close to the center and has parking spaces. You have to make a reservation in advance for the hotel restaurant. The breakfast there was super delicious! There was so much choice of everything and the coffee was also delicious! The rooms were big and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. I felt really comfortable. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.

Super schönes Hotel. Mitten in Böblingen. Super hilfsbereites und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Zimmer sehr modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Viele verschiedene kleine Besonderheiten hier im Hotel, die den Aufenthalt perfekt machen. Nur zum weiterempfehlen 👍🏻

Sehr schönes kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Zimmer sind einzigartig eingerichtet, alles sehr individuell und mit liebe durchdacht. Parkplatz kostenfrei inclusive und ein superleckeres Frühstücksbuffet gibt es auch noch.

Im Juli 2022 habe ich für Oktober 2022 telefonisch im Hotel Zum Reussenstein, Kalkofenstraße 20, 71032 Böblingen ein Zimmer in der Kategorie Junior Suite oder Suite angefragt. Mir wurde gesagt Zimmer dieser Art wären nicht vorhanden aber vergleichbares könnte gebucht werden. Für 245 € pro Nacht habe ich für 3 Nächte ( 735€ ) gebucht in der Hoffnung dem Preis angemessen zu wohnen. Das Zimmer war sauber aber mit ca. 20 m2 sehr klein. In dem Bad war es wie eine Zeitreise in die 80 er Jahre. Die Dusche mit 75x75 cm verlangt schon Übung und Körperbeherrschung. Das Bett mit 1,60m Breite war ein altes zu den weiteren Kiefernmöbeln passendes Detail in diesem völlig überteuerten Zimmer. Ein Kühlschrank drauf eine Mikrowelle mit einem Wasserkocher erinnerte mich schon sehr an ein Zimmer für Handwerker oder reisende Monteure. Eine Nachfrage am ersten Abend bei einer freundlichen Dame an der Rezeption ergab ein zu dem Preis passendes Zimmer. Da die Rezeption am Sonntag ganztägig nicht besetzt war schrieb ich eine Mail in der Hoffnung jemand am Gast interessierten von der Familie Böckle zu erreichen. Keine Reaktion. Das Frühstück kostet in diesem Hotel 21€ plus 9€ Getränke. Mit den Gedanken, dass der Gesamtbetrag beim auschecken anpasst wurde bezahlte ich meine Rechnung. 735 € ist eine Frechheit und Unverschämt für dieses Zimmer dem Gast gegenüber. ( Siehe Fotos ) Es wurde mir ein Rabatt von 90 € angeboten den ich ablehnte. Meine Argumente zu diesem überteuerten Zimmer wurden uninteressiert mit einer zeitgleich stattfindenden Messe begründet. Das Bad hat kein Tageslicht und es gibt in dem Zimmer nur ein kleines Fenster. Unsere Kinder sind von Stuttgart nach Böblingen gezogen, sodass wir 5-6 mal im Jahr in Böblingen sein werden. Aber in diesem Hotel sieht man uns nicht mehr.

Noch nie habe ich so eine Detailverliebtheit erlebt. An gefühlt alles ist gedacht und liebevoll gestaltet, sei es der kostenfreie Bierzapfhahn und die Schleife um's Toilettenpapier. Bei der Abreise wurde mir noch ein Wasser für den Heimweg angeboten, ebenso wie beim Frühstück Brezeln für unterwegs bereits verpackt bereitstanden. Das Gebäude ist schon selbst ein wenig älter, die wichtigsten Elemente sind aber renoviert. In Summe wird auf Qualitäten geachtet und gefühlt das Beste herausgeholt.
