"Visited the restaurant for a Burns Meal - lovely meal, great ambience - staff were fantastic. The Burns Meal menu was well thought out and had choices for everyone. The restaurant was quite busy but we were very well looked after. Will continue to visit this establishment!"

"Due to bad weather affecting our house we checked in at the Seaview overnight and ate there. The room was great, with everything you could need, there was a guide of things to do in the local area and it was a clean, nice room. We are regulars here for dinner and it's always a treat. My husband usually has the scallops for a starter and they are always fab. I had the arancini which was lovely. For mains I opted for the beef 'pie' which is just a lovely plate of food and my husband had a rather large burger! We took the opportunity to sample the cocktail menu and whiskys on offer. The place just gets it right every time we go. A fab night off from our worries."

"Great value for money and location, location, location! Aberdeen House is fantastic value for money. I stayed for 3 nights on the second floor, the room was clean, comfortably warm and despite being located on a major road the outdoor noise was minimal and did not disturb sleep. Staff were helpful and offered to clean the room daily. There is a kettle, tea, coffee and sachets of uht milk and sugar in the room. What makes Aberdeen House stand out is it's location, directly opposite the train and intercity coach station and around the corner from the ferry terminal for the Orkney and Shetland Isles. It is also directly opposite Union Square Shopping Mall with international brand shops and wide choice of cafes and restaurants and a Cineworld cinema. There are also a wide range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants nearby."

"Welcoming staff here who were very helpful and attentive to our needs. Food was a mixed experience with some enjoying their meal whilst other choices were rated as poor. The restaurant staff gave good service but breakfast was very overcooked. Beds here were ultra hard and the pillows were poor quality, flat and lumpy. We also had to cope with a route to the rooms where half the floor width was covered in plastic and pots catching drips from a leaky ceiling. Probably would not stay here again."
