Overall, is a decent choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly or mid-range stay. While there were a few inconveniences, it wasn’t a bad experience. With a few improvements, it could be much better.

Coco Budhi was truly a dream brought to life, the perfect start to our honeymoon. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and an attention to detail that made our stay unforgettable. As we stepped into our stunning villa, we were greeted with a chilled bottle of champagne, the most breathtaking ocean view, and direct sea access right from our deck. It felt like stepping into paradise. To our incredible host Liz, thank you for welcoming us so genuinely and organising every detail with such care. You made everything seamless, relaxed, and completely stress-free, allowing us to fully soak in every magical moment. To our lovely buggy driver, thank you for always arriving with a smile and for the beautiful flower that added such a thoughtful touch. Sammie and Ali, your service was beyond exceptional. From ensuring we had the best table with a view, to always remembering our iced coffees and keeping the food flowing, you made us feel at home. Your warmth and genuine interest in our days meant so much to us. And then there’s Meg, the incredible marine biologist who turned a dream into reality. I mentioned wanting to swim with sharks, and despite unpredictable weather — wind, rain, and rough seas — she made it happen. Meg reshuffled plans without hesitation, driven by pure passion and care. Because of her, we swam with over 20 nurse and lemon sharks in what became one of the most surreal and unforgettable experiences of our lives. Meg, your dedication, kindness, and love for the ocean is inspiring. Never stop what you’re doing. You’re creating moments that people will carry forever. Liz as our butler, who's very friendly and polite, takes very good care of us. Aqua restaurant is the best on the island, Joy is very polite and professional.

The location was just stunning! Our room was spacious and luxurious with beautiful reef straight out our front door! It was like swimming in an aquarium. The staff of the resort were beautiful so helpful and friendly. Dado was our contact point and he made our stay very special super accomodating. The his is a holiday we will never forget!

My wife and I have just spent the most wonderful 9 nights on Coco Bodu Hithi resort in the Maldives. We had the most relaxed holiday in many years. The resort had 4 restaurants and snacks could be obtained in the bar. All our meals were to the highest standards and were exceptionally presented and received. We went all inclusive and I would recommend that you do the same as things are expensive individually. Even with all inclusive some foods carried a surcharge. You might think this to be unreasonable but you should understand that each island resort is like being a cruise liner; everything has to be imported and I mean everything. Some inport costs are much higher than others hence the surcharge. All the staff couldn’t do enough for you and they were genuinely happy if you were happy. I have to give special thanks to our appointed host, Raqeeb, he made our stay utterly perfect - our 50th Wedding Anniversary was made extra special by Raqeeb and we cannot thank and praise him enough. We hope to return to Coco Bodu Hithi sometime soon.
